It is so sad to me that it took 7 months for us to get that phone call on the #HopeForPaws line, but luckily, the electrical company employees fed Mr. Rogers and kept him alive and relatively healthy.

The other one that gets me as well as this video is when he rescues the German Shepherd in the LA river under the bridge, that Shepherd did the same lean in cuddle
U said it so wonderfully. It is our privilege to have these BEAUTIFUL animals as s our companions, friends, pets, etc. I think and w iui sh more people saw it from your point of view in such a humble way.
You could see that as soon as he was comforted, he had clearly been missing that sort of interaction. It definitely looks like he was loved previously, but the owner died or whatever. He seemed to enjoy the bath as well, so it wasn't an alien experience for him, he used to be cared for. Such a gorgeous boy...
It's amazing like all the dog seem to love the bath....mine, who has one or two per year, is not a huge fan....
Big thanks to that security guard also, who fed and watched Hope For Paws on RUclips and so knew who to call, great that he got him the help he needed.

omg when he put his head under your armpit and snuggled i was heartbroken...such a nice boy...how anyone could abandon him is beyond words! He looks so much happier and I am so happy that he can hear again, thankfully he is a happy old guy who is now getting the attention he deserves!

As a security officer myself I know exactly how hard it is to give up a stray, you don’t get much company and their presence makes work a little more bearable. When that SO said they were going to miss him he was being very sincere.

@@philippak7726 It’s all good, I work at a great place these days and the business owners love animals. The business just so happens to need a brave urban fox named Buddy to take care of the rats and a cat with no name to pretend she owns the place. They’re not the best of friends but Buddy’s smart and knows not to hurt the cat, even when he had cubs 🦊🦊🦊running around.

This poor sweet boy he didn’t deserve to be abandon. I love how they always are so kind and gentle and loving to these animals giving them extra time loving on them. I am so thankful they were able to rescue this dog so easily. He’s a beautiful boy and he will find an amazing home
I fell in love with him, such a gentle soul. Wish I could adopt him but sadly live in an apt where only 1 dog is allowed!
That a senior dig would live by a highway fir 7 months sand no one helped or rescued him, I feel totally disgusted by humanity. Shame on all hose criminals that would ,eave him there. Absolutely appalling. Hope fir laws is one of the few animal organization I trust. There are so many fake videos on FB and other sites. Thank you so much for all your kindness and compassion. It's a must pet owners take care of themselves and find a way to protect their pets just in case. So sad to imagine hard and lonely life of Mr. Rogers until he was rescued. Anyway what a relief his ear infection recovered and he can hear now. I hope he will be able to be owned by the perfect family who promises that he spends comfortable life until the end.

Looks like my White GSD Rex who loved me so deeply. Rex was such a loyal dog, a rescue from LA German Shepherd Rescue under Grace Konosky years ago. The lady was a saint! I got two dogs from her - Sultan (Tervuren) and Rex (White GSD) both such wonderful family members who were deeply loved. Mr Rogers looks like an old soul with a gentle heart. Any owner would be lucky to have him.

The first time I saw Joann was a rescue of a blonde shepherd type dog I remember as it was the first time I saw her stunning hair she was head to head with this really big dog you could see the love and that this was the job for her .so glad that you love them no mater age size cat dog what ever .love too you all from the UK
