BRIAN, watched the same TV programme here in Ireland 🇮🇪 . If you ever wanted to see a hero, it was them men. They knew but they still went in. In any country they are a special breed. But on that day , above and beyond. Please God, watch over the rest
We're pretty rural up here and most of our firefighters are volunteers. About 14 years ago the family house caught fire in the middle of the night. I lived about a mile away and got the call from a neighbor. I got there before the FD did and ran in to make sure everyone was out. Everyone but a sister was accounted for. I ran out as the house flashed over blowing out every window and doors and blowing the roof off and halfway across the yard. The FD was just minutes behind me and the wasted no time getting into their bunker gear and tanks and swept the house on hands and knees searching for my sister. They found the litter of kittens and rescued them but couldn't find my sister. They were ready to send more in to search when the sheriff got a call she was safe in town. They couldn't save the house, it was fully involved before they got there but these volunteers didn't hesitate to go in and look for my sister. And all but one of the kittens survived.
Thank you VERY MUCH for acknowledging the 343 fallen fire fighters who were killed on 9-11-2001 in the Twin Towers. I participated in the memorial climb this year, the 20th anniversary. I climbed over 2,200 stairs, (University of Dayton Arena, Dayton, OH) the equivalent of the 110 floors that they climbed on that fateful day. So THANK YOU VERY MUCH for mentioning this on your channel!
Brian, I want to thank you for recognizing the first responders. We have a small community here and we have a very dedicated fire squad. They are all volunteers and it's a perfect example of why farm communities should be a model for the rest of the country. I guess that's another reason I enjoy watching your videos. I don't mean to insult you, but you folks kind of remind me of our family farm ( although we have better beer). God bless.
Planting trees 🌳 🌲 along the fence lines and in between the properties would help with holding moisture in the soul, provide wind breaks and shade for cattle, regenerate the soil with leave mulch and provide protection for pollination and pollinators, birds, butterflies and valuable insects, as well as firewood resource’s and hunting covers as well as deer stand holder’s and probably many more things, like aesthetics for drone footage and active reforestation efforts. It just makes good sense lol. I really like this channel. 😊
Forever grateful for all those guys who gave their lives trying to help others. The shirt is a good reminder. We should all own one and wear them from time to time. I miss 9/12/2001. We all came together in love for God and country. Flags flew everywhere. We said we’d never forget.
Excellent editing to show the process, the repetition of harvest, grain cart, semi, grinder, bacteria inoculation, packing, do it again, and again. What a day! Thank you for making these videos!
It always amazes me that through all the chaos of 9/11, while everyone was rushing out of the twin towers, first responders were rushing in. It has been 20 years and a lot of people seem to have forgotten that or tried to politicize it. We need to have more reverence for our heroes and give them the honor they deserve. We are a better nation when we remember our history, good or bad, and grow from it.
I have that day burned into memory. It didn't set in until I watched a pair of AH 1W cobra helicopters pulling CAP flying over my house with a full load of 16 hellfires and 2 sidewinders each. That was one of the few times New Yorkers and New Jersians didn't care - we were there for each other.
Well said. I too will Never forget. I live on the west coast. As our media was monitoring New York, watching the horror unfold....there are no words to express the terror and sadness I felt. Our media was saying there is a very real chance once the east coast was attacked, the Pacific west coast would be next. There were still planes in the air and our near by Navy and Marine bases scrambled fighters. My kids were little at the time and we stayed in the house locked down. God. The horror of it all. I believe the first responders knew very well there was a better than average chance they wouldn't survive, and yet they went to save as many as they could.....Civilians on flight 93 realized they weren't going to live and yet rather than just letting them fly the plane in the Capital, they fought to stop them and gave their lives to save America's Capital. First in the fight. God Bless Flight 93.....
Cole, I just watched the tornado video you made in 2015. You lost the whole place....I can't believe your family recovered from that disaster. I cannot believe the damage your farm sustained. To be where you are now...is a testament to the strength and courage that your father had in facing up to this catastrophe. And, to the community , I'm sure. Wow....more amazed than ever before about your family.
I want to take the time to say thank you for what you’ve said about the firefighters. I myself was once one but as a volunteer (around the Syracuse NY area) I was a driver. And I got into the EMS as a driver. I did that for 14 years until 3 back operations kinda put that to a hault. I really appreciate the kind words so much. Thank you. I now drive tractor trailer for Fedex Ground…. Great video guys. Please keep on keeping on.---Rick
Thank you for working so hard guys at making these videos. They are so good and it connects me back to farming where my heart is. May God protect you and keep you safe in your harvest.

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Appreciate the fact that Brian talked about 9-11 and firemen that day. Brian, you are a good American!!!! Cole and dad and uncle Jeff all had a very busy day and you got it all done-ya!!!!! Makes for a long day. I can understand the frustration with the grinder plugging up. Agree with you Cole that is probably the moisture content. Hard to get around that. Always makes for a hard day getting in and out of tractors all day. Been there done that. Memories. Glad your got that tire fixed. Bothered me you having to Air it all the time. You made me super hungry talking about the roast in the pot waiting for you. Sounds super good!!!!! About it I guess. Looking forward to the next video. Enjoying the harvest time stuff. You all take care and be safe. Thanks. The Iowa farm boy from years ago.

I’m tellin you that farmers like you and your dad deserve a big pat on the back. I’ m gettin ready to sit down to a good beef roast. Thank you Sonne farms for making my supper possible!
We should never forget the first responders of 9/11. Ever. At the present time, prayers and thanks to the exhausted firefighters on the west coast. Thanks, Sonne Farms, for another fantastic video. A hot roast beef sandwich, Cole. Yum.
