We are on our second outing of the new year 22 miles from home at Beverley Park in Paignton Devon has been brill the 2 x 4 night stays, out walking in the cold visiting Spoons saw Tim Martin yesterday visiting his pub, fish & chips in Brixham, Lovely. We are going to the show end February on the lookout for an island bed van but will not be another Bailey the service from them and the dealer has been terrible, had to go elsewhere for a replacement Fiamma awning as dealer could not be bothered to reply to emails, Natalie.. Looking forward to seeing your new van.
Hope you know what you’ve getting! The can buying situation is crazy at the moment!. Have you seen the lovely motorhomes man saying about stock issues….. it’s crazy! Covid impact still on going and still driving prices and demand into crazy realms. So lots who would change aren’t as can’t get what they want this year… etc! And defiantly agree with the time it takes to clear out one can and then to set up the next one especially if you change layout /storage
I had to put the van onto the CL attached to our storage the weekend before we changed our van. It took 2 cars and a trailer run to empty it. We agreed to start completely from scratch with the new van as we realised how much cr*p we had carried around and never used. So best of luck choosing your new van. I found that was perhaps the most fun. Hopefully it won’t take too long to arrive when you decide on a model. You have to dedicate an entire series to choosing it. Sooo exciting, at you are changing at the right time. I could sell my Defender 110 for more than I paid for it at moment! Guy🤫🤫🤫

i had to sell my old motorhome last year (fiat ducato machzone 1991) it had its pros and cons ,in other words,i was well and truly ripped off,my fault for buying it off eBay, foolishly bought it in June, dry and warn of 2019, then we had loads of rain from Sept for many weeks,water poured in,did what i could to seal water ingress,damp problems etc,so it was sold to a hands on enthusiast, lost most of what i paid for,next time il get a camper again but this time with a 100% habitation certificate 😐👍

Now why do I get the feeling that Darren The Urban MotorHome is going to buy your MotorHome. The reason I say this is a few months ago he announced on his Channel big changes are coming he is going to give up his driving job in early 2023 and probably way before that happens get a newer and bigger second hand MotorHome kit it out with upgrades he needs ie solar batteries etc then do a tour of Scotland to be sure it is set up right and of course see more of Scotland then after he has quit his job travel the world mainly Europe in his MotorHome.

great vlog, you'll miss the size if your planning on downsizing, we sold our last one with the idea of downsizing but ended up with the one a little bigger as we all need the little bit extra storage, most of the new smaller models seem to be targeted on the 3.5 ton. P.S been waiting for the 10% discount so now we'll book the overlander show in June thanks for putting out for us all.

The reason I say this is a few months ago he announced on his Channel big changes are coming he is going to give up his driving job in early 2023 and probably way before that happens get a newer and bigger second hand MotorHome kit it out with upgrades he needs ie solar batteries etc then do a tour of Scotland to be sure it is set up right and of course see more of Scotland then after he has quit his job travel the world mainly Europe in his MotorHome.
I think Darran has a different layout in mind, but the rest of your comment sounds exciting!

great vlog, you'll miss the size if your planning on downsizing, we sold our last one with the idea of downsizing but ended up with the one a little bigger as we all need the little bit extra storage, most of the new smaller models seem to be targeted on the 3.5 ton. P.S been waiting for the 10% discount so now we'll book the overlander show in June thanks for putting out for us all.

Good luck in finding a van that ticks all the boxes, there is always a compromise to make, really interested in what you get, we are going to the nec in Feb to see what's about, really hard to view any new motorhomes atm, good luck with the search guys, onwards and upwards 👍
