me too. i want several out of this lineup. Maybe one day ill have em all. I think my list would be GSX1000GT (or xr), M90 (109 is too dragster for these twisty backroads of nc), and a busa. My pal has a couple of slabsides... i may get one of those for a showpiece as well (ride it rarely look at it often).
The only truly "new" bikes are the 8s and the ilk. That said, i appreciate the fact that suzuki spends a fortune developing the bleeding edge then ride that chassis out till its no longer feesible. Makes part availability go way up. My DR hasnt changed in what 20+years? The Hayabusa, the M109R, The DR650, THe DL650, and a few others are just pure legends. Like a hammer, you cant improve on simple quality. Suzuki seems to understand this and rather than luring people with minor insignificant updates to lure in buyers, suzuki throws their effort at the next big thing while letting their investments mature. IMHO, its a rather good philosophy. I hate the need to buy new just cause mentality. maybe that why im a suzuki customer.
But that you (in the US) still can buy them new is a priviledge. We in europe have a much smaller motorcyle line up availabel. The obligatory Euro5+ makes this gap even bigger.
Suzuki needs to bring bikes people want. Like smaller cc bikes such as suzuki raider 150cc . MOre motorcycles that are usable on the streets and not the tracks.
Im really not sure what you are saying. A 150cc on american roads where standard speeds are 65 / 75 on highway you will be dead. Not that you need a liter bike, but most everything in the Suzuki lineup excepting their race bikes are in fact highly streetable. Ill take any of the new sport tourers (gsx1000gt) or its crossover twin or any of the other bikes built off that line though racing is not my gig. The DR650, the DL 650, DL800, DL1050 all very good street rideable bikes. I just cant imagine what you are even talking about. If you want a glorified motor scooter, got get a honda supercub.
There's only two bikes I would consider owning, the busa and gsxr 1000 but I must say they've made major improvements on the katana, it's probably an awesome bike I just didn't care for the previous gen.
Thanks for the video. the Boulevard was the only bike on the list that even caught my attention. Shame they aren't making more cruiser or touring bikes.
Not on this list maybe, the boulevard line has a fair range of options and in the used market, a c series can be picked up for a steal. You have a lot of options too. C50, C70, C80, C90, C109 have all been made in previous years and all are excellent bikes. Im in the market for one right now actually. On marketplace between 3 and 5k for a clean used model with low miles.
I bought a 2023 Hayabusa last year. My 28th motorcycle and I must say one of my favorite. I thought it might be little too heavy but it handles great in the curves. I’ve race Gsx100r and ZX10R. The Hayabusa is lot more comfortable and crazy quick.
That cruiser boy, very nice but the bars look a little to forward, its supposed to be a cruiser, so the bars need to sweep back a little more for comfort, other than that i like it a lot.
ohh man! i thought the 700 apache was comming out this year? it mimicked the 400 apache from the 70s.a beauty it was and i told suzuk i was gonna buy one!!! what a bummer it aint out yet! we need more enduro looking bikes for the road and not so many crotch rockets!!
Thanks for the video. Truthfully, there wasn't one of these style's that I thought was attractive.Obviously at my age (72) I don't care for these crotch rocket death trap type of bikes. But- to each their own. Have a great day!! Illinois, USA
I am with you, these bikes designed without rear end on them with their tail light just sticking out on a post. One of the worst styling moves the manufacturers have made.
Crotch rockets are close ratio gears, 6 is needed, big cruiser engines have wide ratio gears, 6 is not needed......even 883 doesn't need 6 Suzuki made 1990 1400 intruder, 4 speed, didn't need 5 but got it in 91 cause people shift gears too early...... Sportsters use to be 4 also M109 could easily do 4 speed........the M90 could ease do 4 speed
Its a massively powerful twin. I mean at 1800cc's that means each cylindar is holding 900cc's of explosive force. That is an INSANE amount of torque. It can easily turn bigger ratios and thus a 6th gear is rathar unecessary. I kind of agree a 6th gear might be nice when at cruising speeds as an overdrive, but strictly necessary it is not.
Cheers to that.... I got the cruising version of a baby busa (GSXSGT) a few months ago, Ive got a nicely equipped DR650, once i get the M109R in my stable, i feel my motorcycle needs will have been met and the entire gammut of motorcycling will have been met.
@@JoshuaRoberts-kq9cs - yes - you were lucky. I owned an H2 750 Kawasaki 2 stroke triple - 1973 model - it was always such fun to ride but a bit dangerous though.

Suzuki M109R ... Harley Davidson dream !

New bikes from Suzuki? A couple you mention have been around for decades.😂
This is total bullshit 😂
The very first one has been around for years! Ha!
M109r has been around for 18 years and the only changes have been paint . I had one in 2007

Two strokes of the 70's and 80's were their golden years.
I can remember the Yamahas of that time.
I traded my fs1e 50 for an RD 250 and shit my pants pulling away from the shop.😂
My '74 GT 380 was a great bike, and then I put expansion chambers on it, and it screamed. I had so much fun with it.

I’m with ya. The cruiser market is dying and most of the ones that are new have boring inline twins.
I had one to heavy no tech,no abs ffs get with the times Suzuki

4:25 That 8R is begging for a fender eliminator kit.
GSX 8R all day long. Although I've never considered buying a Busa, this latest design is sexy as hell.

Also, the new GSX S1000 GX
At 70 I am on my second m50 cruiser. Easy to handle in traffic and slow enough not to temp me to be a cowboy.
Suzuki is good!!
Thought they were coming out with TS700 dual purpose

I'm also too old to ride sports bikes. However, I think sports bikes are the best-looking bikes ever made.

No thank you on all of them
Rio,40°Brasil, maravilhoso!!
You need to pick one. Either foot pounds or newton meters.
The measure for torque is pound-foot, though it is commonly bastardized. Foot-pound is a measure of energy.
Old news already. All these bikes have been running in my country for a long time already. Do you come from Russia?
Hm, that GSX 8S is very much inspired by Duke 790 IMHO
I’m still waiting on actual news about the New GSXR 10R that’s supposed to be coming out…😅
name ki ai baik ar
No analogue clocks , no interest 😁
So what was supposed to be new?
Must be different in other countries as some of those names not in the U.K.
Lost their way
I want honda to bring back cb1000 fuel injection with better suspension anti lock brakes
Can you reply me?
Nothijg new about this bike but the color.
