Just ordered mine today at noon!!! This will be my 4th Does it Doom pedal, it’ll be right there with my Sabbathi, Fuzzcoven and Giza!!!You make great shit Steve!!! Can’t wait to get it on my board!!!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
@@DoesItDoom Brother, that’s like asking me which kid I like best, I only have one, but you get my point!!! 😂😂😂I love all of them, the Sabbathi was my first one, but honestly they’re all great!!! I’ll probably still buy an Aghartha when they come back around. You make great stuff Steve, keep knocking them out!!!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Sounds so awesome!! Will definitely get my hands on one at some point this year. Thanks for bringing out such awesome gear all the time Steve, always gives me something cool to look forward to.
Ordered it today. Really stoked to receive it next week. Boy, my neighbors are gonna love me come Spring time. Now I have a pedal specifically made for my 7 string that is tuned to drop F. Just listen to that tone, brutal and so massive. Love it!
A CLEAVED HEAD NO LONGER PLOTS SOUNDS AMAZING ON THIS, would you consider doing a lesson on it in the future? Also the pedal sounds godly(pun intended)
I really like the balance between the fat low end dirt and the articulation of the fuzz in the demo. It’s what I’ve been looking for, because most of what I’ve heard is either focused on one tone or the other. It’s like only getting half of what you would expect the tone to sound like. I’m really interested in this pedal. Would it be possible at some point to hear the full tonal range going from one circuit to the other in like 10 steps? BTW, the quality of your recording is outstanding, both with the guitar and the bass. It’s really nice to get an accurate feel of what the pedal really sounds like. Plus your riffs are sweet. Thanks!
I've got one of these on it's way to me right now. It's kind of funny though. I had to get it from a shop in the UK even though I'm not far from where these are made. Worth it!
Hello Mr. Does it Doom. I am looking to get one of the 20 watt studio Marshalls either the studio jcm800 or the studio plexi, i am greatly leaning towards the 800. I am in love with the Electric Wizard live tone from videos from the past few years, for example Hellfest last year the tone they get is incredible to me and they have a wall of Marshalls jcm 800 looks like to me. I wanna stack some cool pedals too, Pharaoh Fuzz, Earthquaker Acapulco, Rat etc. What is your opinion. Thanks,
Having owned both a plexi and JCM800, I personally prefer the plexi. But if you are chasing modern EW tone, they’ve been using JCM800’s boosted with boost mode of an FZ-2 for over 15 years now.
Thanks bro, I also dig Cathedral and Orange Goblin tone too, think they use the 800 too. Also going to experiment with the Rat, Pharaoh fuzz and Earthquaker Acapulco and tube screamer for fun. I'll probably end up with the studio plexi at dome ooint too. Downsizing from my big 100 watt high gain monster amps, getting into my 50s and it happens, lol. LOVE your RUclips site bro. Thanks again.
@@DoesItDoom FZ-2 is a couple of bucks used. i'll have to pick one up i guess lol. anything out there on the boutique pedals similar. the one your using on this review pretty awesome.
@@DoesItDoom hey bro, Just wanted to let you know i got the jcm 800 studio, i also got the Marshall 1936 2x12 cab with the gt12-75 speakers (on of my favorites). Also picked up some cool pedals, Rat, Acapulco Gold (Earthquaker), and a Fuzzlord FU-2. I already had a Pharoah fuzz (gold one) and i have an old Keeley time machine clean boost, i am keeping the gain at about 1.5 - 2 , and the volume on about 4. I am running it through a Fryette power station ps-2 attenuator/re-amp. Man it DOOOMS, super happy with it. I have a few other heads but they are all high gain screamers, Soldano, Dual rectifier (rack mount) and a peavey 6505+. But i do have a Laney GH100TI (that blows fuses when it gets turned up, i also have a Electric Amp USA 120 watt one, that needs to be repaired too eventually. Love your channel, oh yea ,almost forgot, i did a full and complete set up on my 61 Les Paul reissue with help from your set up vids, i got that Music Nomad 6 piece set, awesome. Tony Iommi is our friend, thanks, John in NJ
Thanks man! Yep, we build everything here at our shops in Mooresville, NC. All of our enclosure work is done by Obscura MFG in Lenoir, NC-about an hour away.
Keep it up , every thing you’ve put out is awsome and exceeds standards. The warlord is an awsome guitar and am so glad I got my hands on one. Can’t wait for more Agartha pedals to be available cheers ! Have a good weekend
Same here. The very moment an Agartha pedal appears it is mine! I just ordered Elder God after being blown away by Doomsaw. Doomsaw pretty much replaced half of the pedals in my rack.
With the bland (Doom) knob in the left side of the circuit, on the Fuzz Face based side, you get good volume clean up. As you move more into the low passed muff side of the circuit, where most of the typical guitar frequency content is filtered out, so you don't get much change.
Doom Metal noob here. Sorry if this is unrelated, I have no knowledge of pedals, but recently I've been really obsessed with some guitar tones from Fvnerals ruclips.net/video/gmFhaECRLxs/видео.html at 2:40 I was wondering what the approximate values of the high low and mid knobs are. Thank you.
@@orsimerband1132 maybe.. My P-bass isn't setup for B-Standard though, and I only have two basses, so that makes it tough to really compare. Id say the pickups are much hotter and the range of tones much greater on the Telecaster bass. Each pickup has a volume control so you can blend them, and then you get the master tone as well.
awesome pedal but unfortunately i cant get it cause i live in egypt so if i purchase it i will pay 5 times the price of the pedal on shipping and taxes
when i was getting into pedals years ago i wanted to get the Amazon basics pedals but the taxes were about 80 us dollars for a pedal worth 25 dollars so shit

Damn. This might be it. The penultimate pedal for the doom genre. Holy amazeballs does it sound awesome!

Yes, absolutely will be doing a lesson on it. Such an amazing fucken tune. Tuned to Drop-F.
@@DoesItDoom great tune, challenging my other favorite ConaN track “Prosper on the Path” :)

I wonder what it would sound like if you ran the Elder God with the Doomsaw.
Had to add battle doom after that because elder God wasn't arrogant enough

How's it respond when you back off the volume? Looking for a heavy fuzz/distortion that cleans up well when you lower the guitar volume
also the rotten sorcerer pedal sound pretty similar
How does this compare to the fuzzcoven? I’m trying to decide on which I need.
The Fuzzcoven is a modern fuzz face style fuzz where as this is a parallel blend of modern fuzz face and low passed big muff.
Holy shit i need this pedal for my bass
