You're forgetting about Matt Forte at Chicago. Over 12k yards from scrimmage in his Chicago career.
As much as I loved Anderson and admired how well he did despite being given the impossible task of replacing Sweetness, Forte was a really good and productive back. Good call.
Facts.
Once again our boy #22 gets an underrated spot. And Forte surpassed Sayers in rushing yards. It's always baffling to hear these lists...
Definitely Forte is on the bears RB Mount Rushmore
LA rams:Eric Dickerson-Marshall Faulk-Steven Jackson-Todd gurley (my opinion)
Titans: well I agree on everything two best RBs groups ever
Give me that Titans group
Do a mount Rushmore for WR's, and another for head coaches!
the browns would have trouble with head coaches😭
Ok I get WR but I don't think people care about coaches
If I’m not mistaken the Steelers have only had 4 head coaches in their history lmao
@@Jordan-bv7on They've only had 3 since 1969, I know that much... lol
Yes that would’ve awesome
Oilers/Titans easily best RB Mt Rushmore.
2 obvious misses: Bo Jackson - Raiders, Todd Gurley - Rams (dominance over longevity). Also Ricky Watters should have ended up on one of the Niners, Eagles or Seahawks lists.
Todd may not be good now but he was great with LA also the rams have great RBs titans and rams two goat RBs
Matt Forte!!?!
@@qevansable for real how is matt forte not on the bears
I wondered why Bo didn't make it too 🤔
Seriously I have now idea how Bo. Jackson isn’t on this
Y’all should do a Mount Rushmore for each sport and their teams
Or states best teams from every sport
@@rithikkapur2452 sure not a bad idea
Gonna make a LOT of angry fans!!
Nfl: bears. Cowboys. Pats. Steelers
Mlb: yankees dodgers cubs red sox
Nhl: blackhawks redwings canadiens
Maple leafs
Nba: bulls lakers celtics golden state
@@jeffkadlec8264 they already do daily..
Red Grange and Bronko Nagurski for the Bears both Hall of Fame
Misses:
Jamal Anderson for Atlanta.
Bo Jackson for the Raiders
Natrone Means for Chargers
Todd Gurley for Rams
… also, I was expecting Ricky Waters to appear on this list for one of his teams, lol
Jamal Anderson was fun to watch. I wasn't a Falcons fan, but I was a Jamal fan lol
Some of these kids today don’t know how good Thurman Thomas was.
Thurman was doing his thing while Marshall Faulk was still selling popcorn at the Superdome.
Of course they're "kids" today? How can they watch a player that isn't from their generation. It's not like you "don't know how good Jim Thorpe is"
And to think that for two seasons in Stillwater they had Thurman Thomas backing up Barry Sanders.
@@fredlougee2807 It was the other way around. Barry backed up Thurman.
@@fredlougee2807 you have that wrong Barry Sanders backed up Thurman Thomas But Barry lead the Nation in kickoff returns
Ah Ahman Green, I hate how many people forget who he was. He led the league in rushing yards for several years in the early 2000’s and once hit 1800 yards, yet we never talk about him.
Probably because people always associate players like that as a waste with us since we never gave him a Championship which is just wrong since we were perennial contenders during his career
Only thing he had fumbling issues
@@bradleysample3246 the fumblitis I know, but goddamn was he good at his job.
He wasn't really one for self promotion. He was a workmanlike player who did his job and stayed out of the limelight. Those guys get overlooked and forgotten.
I haven't forgotten! He was amazing! I wanted my 49ers to go for him
3:18 I like how this man simplified Jim Brown in just a few words and moved onto the next one. 😂🤣
For these types of videos if you could put the years they were with the player’s names that would be very helpful. I knew a decent chunk of these players but after a certain amount of decades back it starts to get blurry. Great stuff!
It was sad to see a player like Steven Jackson set so many records, and the Rams just wasted his career. He was the sole reason the Rams never went 0-16.
And yet he never had a 100 yard game against the Seahawks. That includes the one season when he faced them as an Atlanta Falcon.
If Jackson played on a better team or larger market he would’ve been a hall of famer he should’ve made more pro bowls
Bo Jackson needs to be on the Raiders.
He had 3 years in the nfl
Still one of the best hb
@@Ironmanhawk He packed 7 years worth of highlights in those 3 seasons though and was one of the best athletes ever. In terms of talent Kaufman, Daniels & van Eeghen can't compare.
@@Ironmanhawk Also, Billy Sims, who was awesome too (I have one of his game worn jerseys) played less than 4 seasons worth of games.
@@sixburgh64ss ye Jackson was probably the best RB ever in his short career he was soooo good in his prime. people only played the raiders in that football game techmo bowl because he was so good and unfair
I say this as a Steelers fan, where's the love for Marion Motley for the Browns?
Great Point.
As a Browns fan, I thank you for mentioning Motley!
I hate your team, but respect them at the same time...
I agree with their selections for your "Stillers." Didn't know JHJ was a Steeler. No Merril Hoge?! He ran better when his shirt tail came out.
Metcalf's TWO punt returns for TDs in 1993!!!! I was there!
Yeah, that upset me, too. Many contemporaries called him the best football player they ever went against.
Me personally, I would put Chuck Muncie in the Charger's group.
Doak Walker being All-Pro 5 years running, League MAP and Hall of Fame seems not very important to you.
Great point. I would put him on the lions list ahead of Bussey.
Hell they named the college award after him
Was looking for this comment. Overlooking Walker is kind of criminal.
I'm guessing Wide Receivers will be next? Please do all the positions please, including offensive linemen.
O-line would get no views
Ladanian Tomlinson, easy choice! And on another note, the Rams must've been really stacked if Todd Gurley wasn't on here
Don’t forget Jerome Bettis was a Ram for the seasons.
Ricky Bell and James Wilder were both great for Tampa
Always posting great videos. Thanks for the entertainment.
Also, Steelers is: Franco Harris, Jerome Bettis, Willie Parker, and Le'Veon Bell. If you have it different, John Henry Johnson and Barry Foster would be the only other 2 you should have
@jason smart Bro wait
This guy who said najee is definitely a Alabama bang wagon who doesn’t watch football
@cali619 So did Foster? JHJ also only had like 2 good years. And Parker had 3 straight 1,200 yard years from 2005-07, and would've had more if it wasn't for injuries. In '08, he was on pace for 1,000 yards in 11 games, and in '09, an injury he sustained led to Rashard Mendenhall taking over as the starter
@@snaggy_julian6170 Or he was making a joke. Not to mention TPS puts rookies in lists they don’t belong 😂
@cali619 No, I was talking about Parker. Foster wasn't even in the NFL in '08, and he was a rookie in '09.
Bears - Matt Forte
Colts - Joseph Addai
Falcons - Jamaal Anderson
Giants - Brandon Jacobs
Raiders - Charlie Garner
Saints - Pierre Thomas or Darren Sproles
Falcons don't go to that super bowl without Jamaal Anderson
How in the hell do you leave off Bo Jackson for the Raiders
Career stats
Duh carrier stats he was hurt half carrer
I am a denver fan and I still can't believe you didn't put bo Jackson for the raiders
He only played 4 seasons and had 1 pro bowl
I really feel like the titans have the best RB mt Rushmore they seem to always have a good back every few years
My favorite team is the 49ers and I wore an Eddie George jersey. Dude was goated
For the Chargers, Chuck Muncie should be up there before Gordon.
Good NFL teams that deserve better stadiums
You've been at this forever. it would be nice if TPS just did this. I respect the commitment though
@@lysvakt27 thx
Bills
For the panthers it is Stephen Davis who was on the Super Bowl 38 team as the starter and is also the one who should be on the list over Foster.
Stephen was one of those power RBs. Beastly and a joy to watch
Misses: Jamal Anderson -Atlanta Falcons, Natrone Means - San Diego Chargers, and Stephen Davis - Carolina Panthers(their main weapon during the 2003 SuperBowl run)
...Lorenzo White, Allen Pinkett, Travis Henry, Lendell White, Chris Brown, DeMarco Murray...the Titans list goes on.
Justin! You’re back!?
The Titans have the best Mt. Rushmore Running backs of all time. It's not even close. (2) 2,000 yard backs, Earl Campbell rushing title 3 straight years. Eddie George 10,000 yard club.
Not to mention (3) Heisman trophy winners with Earl Campbell, Eddie George and Derrick Henry.
Where's Bo Jackson? The best combination of speed and power I've ever seen in my life! What a freak of nature Bo Jackson was!
Me: PFFT! Ray Rice? We don't have any restraint in this list?
Me, a Bills fan:...oh... apparently not....
How do you forget Jamal Anderson for the falcons?
Great list. Titans/Oilers top in my opinion.
Agree. Give me that group anyday
and none of them won a Super Bowl or Championship
Fun fact: the Titans have had a 1000 yard rusher in 20 of the past 25 seasons. No other team has been close in running back dominance in the 21st century
and only 1 Super Bowl appearance-with a loss.
Wish we won our first SB in the 80s or first time against the Pats in 05 when I was 5/6 but it’s more memorable when I was 18 and saw them win when they wore their green against arguably the best team in NFL history & I still remember going to the parade in Philly. And it was a school day I think 😅 and my mom called to my old teacher who was on the train 🤦🏽♂️
I'm glad you didn't put Todd Gurley as one of the rams 4 mount Rushmore RB's, but as a saints fan I'm appalled you put mark Ingram on there. We had Darren Sproles, Reggie bush and Pierre Thomas and you put mark Ingram on there! What the flip!
Christian Okoye is my absolute favorite Chiefs player of all time!!!
Finally a list owned by the titans
Mel Farr over Dexter Bussey for Detroit.. Farr and Taylor were in the same backfield.. Farr was the number 1 back at the time..
The Titans probably have the best backfield
Agree. And I am a Texans fan lol
Other Saints greats: Chuck Muncie, Dalton Hilliard, Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles
Reggie Bush
Five dissents: Buffalo; Cookie Gilchrist over Joe Cribbs. Chicago; Bronko Nagurski over Rick Casares. Cleveland; Marion Motley over Mike Pruitt. Indianapolis; Tom Matte over Lydell Mitchell. San Francisco; Hugh McIlhenny over Ken Willard.
No Marion Motley for the browns, no Frank Gifford for the Giants, no Bronco Negurski for the Bears, and Ezekiel Elliot on the Cowboys list. There's some serious recency bias on display here.
Video idea. The best nfl team qb wise. Not current but overtime. So pretty much the team who always has a good qb will get the number 1 spot
Someplace, somewhere, a tear is silently shed for Bo Jackson
How do you put Larry Johnson on the Chiefs Mount Rushmore over Marcus Allen?
For the Chargers I feel like Lorenzo Neal would of been a way better pick then Gordon
Forte should be on the bears with Bronco Nagurski but otherwise good video
I would like to see a Mount Rushmore for WRs and TEs
for the Bears you missed Red Grange and George Mcafee rather than Casares or Anderson(don't get me wrong great backs in their own right, Bears just have had luck at RB/HB)
The Colts should have Lenny Moore and/or Alan Ameche
I thought of Tom Matte.
@@tygrkhat4087 He was pretty good too
You never heard of Red Grange?
You never heard of Bronko?
You are unfamiliar with Chicago Bears runner George S. Halas?
George was an end. But Red and Bronko? Great in any era.
As a lifelong Saints fan, I would have put Dalton Hilliard over Kamara. Not only does he have more rushing yards, but he played his entire career in New Orleans and is in the actual Saints HoF.
y’all didn’t put herschel walker for the cowboys?
Emmitt Smith,Tony Dorsett,Ezekiel Elliot,Demarco Murray
Garrison Hearst is my 49er RB
No Jamal Anderson for the “Dirty Bird” Atlanta Falcons?
Fax tho 💪🏾
What about Marion Motley, the trailblazer for the Browns?
Me, being a Seattle fan: Alexander and Lynch are guaranteed up there!!!
Mount Rushmore for every team's wide receivers
I'd take that Titans Rushmore any day and I'm a Texans fan
okay this list is missing some true mt. rushmore RBs. Herschel Walker for minn. Bo Jackson for the Raiders. Ricky Watters for SF for sure. Natrone Means for the Chargers, they're lone Super Bowl was behind him. might want to redo this Mt. Rushmore.
the titans go the best core with the rams
Jonathan Taylor will be on the Colts one day
Props to Faulk making it into 2 mnt. Rushmorez
Just like Dickerson, and they both did it with the same teams
No Daryl Johnston in Dallas' Mount Rushmore?! And you put Ezekiel Elliot in there?! Are you guys on heroin? Just cause "Moose" didn't accrue rushing yards doesn't mean he wasn't absolutely dominant!
Awesome point. His blocking was key to a lot of Emmitt Smith's Success. He should be on that list.
@@waynejohanson1083 they gave zero love to blocking FBs! Lorenzo Neal should be on the Chargers list as well as Tom Rathman on the 49ers. They said they would include FBs, but only if they were used as RBs...#lamestlistever
Did you just take the 4 all time leading rushers for every team?
I noticed that too. If they did, that’s pretty lazy
It's definitely lacking some nuance. Doak Walker losing to any Lions RB that didn't wear 20 and have the initials BS is incorrect.
How do you leave the only HOF Giants RB off the list Frank Gifford?
Nick Chubb's gonna have a spot on the Browns Rushmore one day. BTW where's Marion Montley
This was Joseph Addai time to shine 😔
Video idea: 10 current running backs who will be in the hall of fame
I see they finally used my idea lol. After weeks of spamming it in the comments lol
Zeke is Not on a hall of fame trajectory. He's a average running back at best who got lucky and played a few seasons behind the league's best O-line. The last 2 years he's been a back-up tier RB at best.
Lorenzo Neal needs to be on there for the chargers
Lenny Moore should be on the colts Mount Rushmore of RB’s not Lydell Mitchell. Moore is in the HOF, won back to back championships with the colts in 58-59 and played RB and WR.
Lenny Moore wasn’t really a RB. He was more of a hybrid between a receiver and RB.
Next do nfl mount rushmore safeties
How many Bengals RBs do you think sit ahead of Giovani Bernard?
Do a vid on the BEST Cleveland Browns draft pics from 1999 to present. Even one season wonders for them like Braylon Edwards or Josh Gordon….
Marvin Hubbard and Bo Jackson should've been Raider picks. Mike Garrett for Chiefs maybe?
That the Lions had TWO great running backs with the initials BS that wore #20
The evolution of the football itself and the things teams have tried to do to then for an advantage.
so your gonna put the raiders without no jackson????
Didn't play long enough and his stats
1. Tennessee
2. St. Louis/L.A.
3. Washington
I’m a jaguars fan and I approve of this. Should of never released MJD.
Maurice Jones-Drew was a stud back in the day.
Hell no I don't! Fournette was a piece of shit! Get him off there, he don't deserve it! James Robinson already proving to be a MUCH needed improvement!
PITT Panthers pretty well represented..H2P! 🏈
Predicting before the video for my Bills: O.J, Thomas, Lynch, Henry...
Edit after video: not a bad list, but maybe could tweak one or two for most teams.
Can't see how Calvin Hill and Duane Thomas aren't Cowboy top 4
Matt Forte needs to bump Neal Anderson from the Bears mt rushmore list.
Personally as a Cowboys Fan, I probably would've put Marion Barber or Daryl Johnston instead of Zeke, both had major impacts for their respective teams.
What about DeMarco Murray, or Calvin Hill
And Herschel Walker
Mount Rusmore of every teams long-snappers next?
I’m curious to know what he’s basing any of this on. Because so many of the names were mispronounced, I’ll assume that he hasn’t seen the guys that he’s listed
So nice to see when someone actually gives Jim Brown his well deserved GOAT status.
Im pretty sure most people acknowledge him as the GOAT
Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, LT, Emmit Smith, and Adrian Peterson are all better then him so idk how y’all are calling him a goat
Jim brown in nfl=bill Russell in nba... never recognized as the goat when always should be in the conversation
@@ChiefGore429 Wilt was better
@@DonOfChi AP isn’t as good as Jim brown, but everyone else on the list has a argument to be made.
How is Bronko Nagurski not a top 4 Chicago Bear?
Bengals:
Pete Johnson, James Brooks, Corey Dillon, Rudi Johnson.
Ickey Woods?
@@Treny5000 He was a Fullback, and he only had 1 great season.
A lot of these I would say are incorrect. I love Willis and Gus, but they were not better than Priest for the Ravens.
How can you have the Browns? Best backs without Motley?
How can you have the colts best running backs without Moore?
You forgot Lamar Jackson for the ravens
@cali619 because narratives
Eagles not having Darren sproles is a sin
Lenny Moore with the colts?
