This is for the basic 'Quick Mode' setup without Knife-edge or Hover
Create the model from the model setup wizard by choosing Model Select then [ + ] to add a new model. You can select the appropriate setup for your model and whether it has separate aileron channels, flaps or split elevator, etc.
To program the basic Gyro Gain and Gyro Mode for the stabilized receiver, simply add two new free mixes:
FREE MIX 1
Name : Gain
Source : Pot2
Offset : 50%
Weight Up : 50%
Weight Down : 50%
Output : CH13
FREE MIX 2
Name : Mode
Source : SB (or whichever switch you prefer)
Output : CH14
I have always wondered what the ideal settings are for autolevel in your RXs... I think most default to 50? I'd love to learn a bit more about best practices on how to set those values. Also, does the gain knob affect the auto-level mode or just the stabilized mode? Thanks for making these resources, the new Stab rx's are awesome.
This is good to know. Will this receiver, and gyro (the video is for a basic 5 channel airplane), work in a Freewing F-14 where 3 aileron channels, one elevator channel, 2 rudder channels, throttle channel, thrust reverse channel, center burner channel, flaps channel, retract gear channel and swing wing channel would be required? Or would a different receiver be better for this complex a model?
Hello Sir! Hope you're doing well. Question in Ethos Suite they have Pre-Release 1.5.0 RCO. I've always been told don't down load any pre-release firmware, Because not safe and is this true.
So I have a gy401 gyro in my helicopter. Would I do the same set up basically
No sorry, not sure how that gyro works but it's completely different than our stabilized receivers. You should consult the manual for that gyro system. The FrSky stabilized receivers cannot be used for heli and only support fixed-wing.

can u use bluetooth mode 1 on my tx as a trainer, and mode 3 on another tx as the slave ,as we both fly diffrent modes cheers
Yes it should work just as long as you have the MIXER channel orders on the student radio set correctly to match the Teacher radio's model expected channel order.
hi thanks for reply tried that still same ,what im trying to do is fly on my mode 4, with the student flying mode 1,and i have control if any probs happen,just wondering can it be done @@frskyrc-ben
I have an old s6r that I am having problems binding to my new x20s radio what would be a good up grade receiver.
Have you tried updating the firmware on your S6R? It should work with the ACCST v2 firmware.
Right now there is not really a 6Channel Stabilized Receiver replacement. There was Archer R6 but it is discontinued now.
There will be a new Archer Plus SR6MINI which is Stabilized 6channels but it only has connectors for the micro servos.
The closest replacement to S6R now is Archer Plus SR8
