No I have not but there is a department of transportation regulation that states that the light assembly should reflect or display amber color if equipped.

Look good these though. Seems a common issue the water Ingres ad fogging. Locating in a wheel arch gets plenty air flow and water.

It's crazy that you guys out there are changing it to clear or smoke color. While us, especially in the southeast asia, we change our side markers from clear to amber one 😅
These sidemarkers look great with white LEDs. I wish there was a switchback LED that was white until you had to turn then it'd switch to orange, cus I think everyone should use amber for turning regardless.

They do sell them like that. amzn.to/2DeLSwH However, it requires you to run your own wire for the turn signal function. Just need to tap the stock turn signal bulb in the front headlights. The stock sidemarkers are only on for standard driving aka parking lights.

The cheap ones I ordered out of China, the bulb didn’t twist in properly on the passenger side, so I had to sand down the rubber washer lol, other wise was fine though

damn i didnt know it was that easy to remove the whole cover, i just tinted it with it on the car... took a lot of cutting and re-adjusting lol

It's just a 194 or 168 led bulb.

Question, I have the screws out but there seems to be nowhere for the screw to bite on the bottom most screw of the passenger side. Am I missing something?

Might be a stupid question but I don't mind asking. I definitely installed them correctly. Neither light turns on now. Do they only turn on when the car is In drive? And do the led's have polarity? Like is there a chance I put both in the wrong direction? Thanks

@@kentlee4481, Both bulbs were in the wrong direction lol. Just bad luck on my end. Flip them 180 degrees and they should light up
@@thinkforyourself5672 after verified it, found out it was the bulbs burnt out, it light up with new bulbs

My side marker keeps popping out the part that pops out won't hold it in. I just purchased a new side marker. Not sure if it will make a difference. Unless the screws are loose.
The metal tab probably is out shape or bent. It's very thin. You car try to reshape the metal tab
Should I still replace the side marker or return it?
@@DIYCarModz I did end up replacing the side marker. It snap right back in no longer sticking out. I think the orange one may have been bent or broke somewhere.

Don't touch it with your bare hands. put on some latex gloves or use a shop towel

push the metal bracket out. Its soft metal you can push in and out. More than likely it was pushed in.

I have 2013 Accord coupe, 2012 Honda Fit Sport and this 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback that I can now make videos for.
Mine seem a bit loose now that they are replaced. Is that normal
It should not be loose. Check to make sure the plastic tab in the back of the sidemarker is not cracked. Also, the metal piece that the plastic tab can bend during installation. So try bending the metal piece towards the outside of the vehicle.
Nice tutorial! The side markers are close to $60 comparing to others that range around $40, is this more just a quality thing?

The orange marker are more “JDM” looks and better looking than smoked one. 😂

When i put mine back it won't lock. Any idea why?
either the plastic tab on the sidemaker is cracked or the metal piece where it clips onto is bent.
