It would be an interesting mini series (~10 episodes) to refactor the base to take advantage of the surplus of 1-1 trains. Most people have to refactor at some point in their bases because they don't plan as well as you. Showing people how to do that well would be helpful.
I think it might be possible to get a more accurate reading of available trains if you put a signal in the middle of the last cargo wagon. It would allow the signal to change when it is called out instead of when it has cleared the stacker completely. But you could also minimize that by making smaller depots so that trains aren't waiting so long to get out.
Does ltn have a 'subnet' function where you could designate say, matched pairs of requesters and providers that share a close proximity? Perhaps by quadrant, or by logistic class.
I think the way you would "subnet" would be to assign different "ID's" and and run the different ID's for different purposes. But I'm just sort of getting started with LTN on a much much smaller base than Nilaus has here in this video. Pretty sure that would work though.
cmon man, how many episodes is it gonna take u to figure out that u dont have enough trains ? look at how many stations u have scrolling thru that list.... just give all tier 2 patreons 2 trains each and all tier 3 patreons 3 trains each since 1-2 and 1-4 trains are the once lacking and be stable with some idle trains
I set the rules at the beginning of the series and I respect those. This is what it resulted in. This is by no means a "must do everything optimally" series
17:40 I don't think provide priority does anything beneficial for a requester station!
Considering your restrictions, this base turned out really good! But I'm definitely ready for some Krastorio now 😁
Anyone who doesn't put a signal at the beginning and chain signal at the end of a train stop is a monster.
Well done, great series, really enjoyed it.

Agreed

Im amazed you got it to work this well with short trains. If you doubled all the lengths, you'd have a better chance.
@@ggrnd0 improved signalling would be required, if not larger cells.
You're getting a little cocky about the trains my dude :D
Add locomotives to the 2 trains to make them faster. Only need to fix fuel in the depots.
Is there a small spot in the base that will destroy the whole base if someone managed to land a shot in it?
Don't know anything about this train mod but why can't you just add more trains if you don't think there is enough?
Trains are designated for patron. Would be unfair to supporters if more free trains showed up
1 Train per Patreon is the "gimmick" of the series, hence when I have a train for each Patreon then I cannot add more.
Nilaus ahh ok. Makes sense. Love the concept.
To be fair, uranium may be by default balanced with the production of nukes and uranium bullets in mind.

How many episodes before the character GUI update you recorded on this series?
Why the red and green science in one side of belt, but the other science is on both sides of belt.?
your base is soo big... jesus
Could also allow the 1-2 copper plate to deliver to the 1-4 copper plate recievers.
