I know what ya mean about the rocky trails messing you up. I grew up riding East coast trails and in my 40s, went to Hatfield and mcory trails. Hit some rock gardens! At the time I had a xr400r. I learned real quick that all I had to do was let the bike do what it wanted to do and just gas it when in bought. I also learned that doing that kind of riding on a lighter 2 stroke was way more easy on my body. I'm slower now and probably would stay away from the rock gardens but still riding at 55! KLX300 and a KDX200
Awesome advice. I plan on checking out the Hatfield and Mcoy trails soon! Glad you’re still out there riding and having fun I hope to be doing the same at 55.
Helluva ride you did! Nice job! I'm thinking about that KLX to knock around on but I'm 60 and don't really want to take any nasty falls. I would probably stay away from that rocky single track stuff.
Thank you! Yeah that’s the cool thing about the KLX you can knock around on it, or you can take it on some tough trails. It’s great for both. I’m with you though, I don’t want to take anymore nasty falls either haha.
That was a beautiful day! And a great video! You did great! 1a definitely has it's rough spots that took me a while of riding to Conquer! Can't wait to go again with you bro!
Momentum is key and confidence because the bike will make it over as long as you can keep your balance with throttle control and clutch learning to balance and ride. Slow is beneficial.
6.27 the stand up so nice you got this all day well done
I've been looking at getting a KLX300 to add to the garage. Nice video!
Thank you! They are definitely fun little bikes.
Looks like a really fun place to ride!
Yes you and the mighty KLX can keep up.
Haha! We certainly gave it our best

nice one! man i wish i had buddies to ride with here. the guys i know bikes are always down lol..
Haha I know the feeling. When I got my bike I’d just search for dual sport groups on social media, I didn’t know any of these guys beforehand.
You will have a better ride if you stand up in the rough sit in the corners ❤❤❤ you go better and faster 💪💪
Thank you! I am definitely still trying to get better at that.

Great tips thank you!
So cool dude! Hope to see you again Saturday!
Awesome riding man!
Momentum and standing up more while squeezing the bike with your knees is key
Good tips, squeezing with the knees is something I definitely got to get better at.
Hey would anyone know where and how I could get and set up a Left handed Throttle on a possible New KLX or other bike??? Please 🙏 Help!
Did you only change your front sprocket?
I changed the front and rear I’m running 13/42
