Switzerland has such beautiful cities from what I have seen I guess it is just not on this list because not many people are aware of how beautiful the country is
The problem is that the whole Switzerland is not very big, but every tiny part of it is beautiful. It could be considered as one city comparable to New York :D
I would not put NY in the same sentence of Beautiful. Prague, San Francisco and Rio de Janeiro should be in the list. Kiev is wonderful. What you consider beauty? I would say nice architecture, history, parks and trees, nice landscape, mountains in the back, lakes, rivers, bridges.
Kyoto Japan is probably the most beautiful city I've been to. It is a cross between a modern city and also feeling and looking ancient too. This list is a little too mainstream and mostly lists all of the big tourist cities that have enormous populations.
Yes absolutely, its more of a list of "most iconic tourist destinations" rather than cities of pure beauty. In my opinion only a fool would argue that London or New York are more beautiul than cities like Florence or Toledo.
Leave it to the mainstream. Don't let people with "bucket lists" come to the real beautiful cities only because some influencer posted it on Instagram or youtube. They will destroy it.

@@InvincibleAkuma Cool! Ive been to NYC last may for 10 days, just visiting. Its indeed a very special place and it sure has its beauty here and there. Especially the art deco at Rockefeller Centre, the various gothic architecture and the beaux art buildings stand out. A city with beautiful things however is something else, at least for me, than a beautiful city. I wasnt criticising NYC, although I could probably never live there. As a Dutchy, I could probably never get used to the insane gaps in wealth, feeling both uncomforatble in the most posh and the most deprived areas. But it is certainly unique!
Kyoto is pretty underwhelming as a historical city when you compare it to famous European medieval cities. Random modern buildings among historical streets really destroys the uniformity, and that's why Kyoto has a really awful look when you oversee the city from above. I will admit that Kyoto has its own charm and lots of things to do, but in terms of beauty? No it's definitely not on the same level as cities like Florence or Edinburgh.

if the locals aka canadians cannot afford t o live in their country but foreigners can then there is something really disgusting and treasonous going on in canada

I've lived in South Africa foe 42 years. My Eueopean ancestors have been here since the 1600s, and my indigenous ancestors have been here since the dawn of time! I KNOW what I am talking about!
These Americans will tell u they feel safer here than they feel in Chicago or New York.
I was expecting to see Stockholm on this list; clean, canals and water everywhere and amazing light that you can get at these northern latitudes.
If you're going to the trouble to be in Vancouver, catch the ferry and go to Victoria instead. It's 10X better!
.....or, just park your vehicle in Port Angeles, walk on the PA ferry and walk off in *_truly_* beautiful historic Victoria !!!
NYC 🇺🇸 💪👍
Stockholm is definitely one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to.
Yep, love it, I was just there. I love how walkable it is, it's peaceful, and the arts in the metro stations are awesome.
doing double duty today! thanks briggs.
Switzerland has such beautiful cities from what I have seen I guess it is just not on this list because not many people are aware of how beautiful the country is
The problem is that the whole Switzerland is not very big, but every tiny part of it is beautiful. It could be considered as one city comparable to New York :D
I LOVE ❤️ NYC
I would not put NY in the same sentence of Beautiful. Prague, San Francisco and Rio de Janeiro should be in the list. Kiev is wonderful. What you consider beauty? I would say nice architecture, history, parks and trees, nice landscape, mountains in the back, lakes, rivers, bridges.
I don't know which criteriums were considered by the voters, but if we count on a "wow" factor, no city in the planet beats Rio de Janeiro.
My Filipino fiance went to Singapore 3 years ago and it's awesome. The place is home to the famous Jewel indoor waterfall and Garden By The Bay.
Is her name Rose?
@@agolftweetler3995 no it's Joy
@@borinightmare apt name! 😂
lots of maids in Singapore.
Yeah alot of em. They're mostly diverse in any part of the area.
London England is Beautiful but must clean up litter.
@@ageoflove1980 i live in nyc for over 23 years. Regardless of how much I hate this city, I must say nyc is truly different from any other cities on the list, not because of its beauty tho. It’s just different. Anyhow, I will move out next year. Not gonna miss this city, but I will come back to visit and see my family here.
Friday night heat from Briggsbyyyyy thank you sir
Love your videos but maybe for this one, travel experts aren't the best to ask. I love & adore my home London, but more beautiful than Venice? Barcelona more beautiful than Seville? And no Bruges, Prague, Vienna, Rio, Sydney, San Fran???
PARIS 🇲🇫
MERCI !
Chicago is much more beautiful than nyc
I been to Chicago more times than NYC
I cant see how either belong on a world list. Moronic nepotism but the producers i guess
I am from Chicago, the skyline is beautiful.
@@newshound2521im from chicag and i agree
Thanks for all the research and editing. I appreciate this list. Been following your channel a long time. Rock on!!!! Fan from Santa Cruz.
Nice video. It would be interesting to see what the travel professionals think are the most beautiful smaller cities. NYC though? I'm not sure where the beauty is. Singapore sure looks like a beautiful place
It's all what one likes, I think one of the most beautiful city in the world is Vienna great architecture all those great concert halls that I would like to visit one day.
Hi, Jimin Lachimolola, we have a lot in common I to live in New York and I came from Croatia, so in Croatia, Istra where I come from we have cities that were built during Austro-Hungarian empire absolutly beautiful. Check it out Opatija and Volosko.
My favorite is brugge,belgium
I haven’t been everywhere, but I agree that Paris deserves #1. I visited 3 times before the pandemic and was planning to go again in 2020 but that didn’t work out. In my opinion, France is a beautiful country overall.
I lived in Paris and don't deserved to be in the top 10 anymore !
@@rogernguyen1273 oops!
Cape Town was a beautiful city to visit, but has become quite dangerous (I have been there many times and have friends who live there). Like Paris, their golden age is finished because of social unrest.
I was just 3 days in Cape Town, I loved it, luckily I didn't seen any danger
Geez! What about Montreal? Victoria, BC?
Good job man, i love that list. I think we need to remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But history and a cities that running more than 1000 years have the edges
2: New York
3: London
Most beautiful cities in the world, you got to be kidding ???
To be fair he gave ahuge disclaimer in the beginning of his vid that this list is biased so there's that
I WILL AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT VANCOUVER BEING ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITIES! VANCOUVER IS AWESOME!! AND VANCOUVER IS MORE TOLERANT THAN OTHER CITIES IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA.
Victoria, British Columbia definitely belongs on this list. I have also really liked Stockholm, Oslo, and Osaka.
I agree. I was thinking that Stockholm could be number one.
Love Victoria went there 10 years ago! Took the Clipper ferry from Seattle to get three.
@@darrendawson4800 Yeah, Victoria is a very pretty city. Agreed!
@@seewaage love Vancouver too! Also went to Montreal and Quebec a month ago both very European looking.!
Victoria definitely over Vancouver.
I live in Vancouver, it is a beautiful city. Unfortunately it is becoming too expensive for most locals but nothing beats a place where you can go for hiking, river fishing, ocean diving and skiing ⛷️ all in the same location. I haven’t travelled a lot but I am glad my city made it to the list.
Athens has all these activities
if the locals aka canadians cannot afford t o live in their country but foreigners can then there is something really disgusting and treasonous going on in canada
I might go a little left-field and recommend Edinburgh! It's a very beautiful city with lots of history, nature, culture, and things to do and definitely deserves to be on this list.
YES!! I was going to post this same city!
There are so many cities that I find more beautiful than Paris. Prague, as already mentioned, but also polish cities like Krakow or Wroclaw, also Bratislava, Budapest, Vienna, Stockholm…It seems like the „experts“ have forgotten about Eastern and Northern Europe. Paris is not bad, but in my opinion completely overrated
For me: Europe: Vienna, Africa: Casablanca, Asia: Kuala Lumpur, Middle east: Istanbul.
Istanbul is in Europe (most of the city is).
@@TolgaKarlilar hahaha ok ok
I love that you always say “get it, got it, good!” before you start off
Cape Town is stunning. You cant call yourself a real world traveler if you havent visited this incredible place 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I'm from there and living in Ireland now due to crime levels. I miss CT but the city itself is ugly.
@@Mars...E ugly?? It is beautiful (crime levels aside, that is a general problem in all of SA sadly, thanks to the ANC)
@@samb3303 I've travelled around and CT would be last on my list. Sorry not sorry. You are obviously not a Saffa. So... I rest my case 😆
Talking about general? CT is the crime capital of SA. Look it up
@@Mars...E everyone is entitled to their opinion. You obviously have a personal grudge against Cape Town that you need to work through maybe in therapy? Millions of people love CT and it is always voted as one of the world's most naturally beautiful and diverse cities. By the way, who says i am NOT South African?
@@samb3303 I have no grudge against CT 😂 Therapy???? 🤣🤣
Maybe I’m biased but I truly marvel at the world class beautiful architecture I see everywhere I go in dc. Even the bad neighborhoods.
Interesting & fun video, but very much an English / Western bias, that said I have been to almost all of these cities and they are great. I think that Kyoto, Victoria BC, Krakow, Budapest, Vienna, Istanbul, Buenos Aries, Prague are worthy of this list. Some day I would love to see St. Petersberg too, but you know...
Completely agree.
Loved Budapest, Prague and Istanbul. And, Vienna is my favorite city anywhere.
Haven’t been to Krakow yet, but definitely appreciate its potential to be recognized among the most beautiful cities (have been to Warsaw on business a few times and want to return for pleasure.
There are a few others I haven’t been to yet that I think also have potential, such as Quebec.
Brigs‘ list this time was kind of a mess.
I think he needed more diversity in the sources used to create it.
Sydney with harbor beaches pittwater and blue mountains...
Thanks to Gaudi's architecture, I agree about Barcelona. I love Venice and Paris, but I was surprised to see New York and London on the list... they are interesting cities, but definitely not beautiful. I would take Rio de Janeiro and San Francisco over New York and London when it comes to eye candy.
I totally agree with your assessment.
San Francisco, Vancouver
A couple I would have thrown on the list for their physical beauty would be Rio De Janeiro & Sydney.
As a singaporean i would say venice, nz, australia, ireland, indonesia...
