What did your gpa and extra curricular look like? Also which school are you transferring from? What major are you going to take? I’m a high school senior and want to attend SDSU but I’m afraid I might have to transfer. I’d love if you could share some info.
There isn’t a shopping center around SDSU, because you need to commute by trolley to Downtown SD where the Gaslamp Headquarters are, and also these public transportations will take you all the way to Old Town down to Balboa Park Museum, San Diego Zoo, the Convention Center, Seaport Village, and much, much more. How are you students getting around???
This is my top choice rn and I’m so glad I was accepted!!!
San Diego does [Not] have beach weather year round. December-March is often cloudy and cool weather with temps in the 60s. April -October is much nicer, sunny and temps in the 70s and 80s.

How would you describe their academics? What sets them apart from other schools in that way?
When I was little I wished I could to SDSU. I grew up and my dream school change. I looked into SDSU and fell in love with again. I am thinking of applying soon.
Don’t dream too much nor too long, because out of 100,000+ applicants, only the first 35,000 will be accepted each quarter. I had to push my way really hard to get in. It’s a constant fight or fail battle with this university. Just have a thick skin and be ready.
I just got accepted to be a freshman this upcoming year!! The only issue is money... it ain’t cheap for out of state!

can you take classes outside of your major? for example i want to go in for biology, but id like to take an acting or film class... is that possible?

Does SDSU accept students who didn’t complete all of the pre major requirements? I have all my GE done, but a lot the classes that were required for my major weren’t offered this year because of COVID :\ I would really love to go here, I hope I get accepted.
I believe so ! It’s not the same thing but I was into duel enrollment for the last two years which at the end it’s basically you get your associates but I wasn’t able to complete all my classes to get my associates and I only have like 4 left I believe, and i asked the out of state counselor and she said it’s fine, I’ll just have to complete them either at SDSU or online at my community college.
God I miss SDSU, It's been one year since I graduated. For all you new folks out there, GO TO THE BASKETBALL GAMES!!!

I got accepted for spring 2021 For global campus. The tuition is 510$ per unit. Can I transfer to other CSU’s to save money?

Can you describe move in day? because I'm from new jersey and I just don't know if it's inconvenient
I didn't actually move in on move in day because I didn't want to be stressed lol so I moved in a day early & it was the best decision Ive ever made!! move in day is pure organized chaos. They have bins so that you can take less trips to your car but usually the bins are all taken & the elevator is full so you have to take the stairs most of the time or wait for an elevator. Super exciting though watching everybody move in but bittersweet when the parents leave :)
