honors college at san diego state university ( classes, requirements, is it worth it??)

I have been in the weber honors college since freshman year & thought I would share my experience/what I know about it with y'all! I know I was a bit confused what the requirements were and if it was worth my time so I hope this helps :)

I thought Honors would end up making me carry the weight of the world on my back, but if the honors program at my university is similar to yours (and a few other people's who I've seen videos of), then this honestly seems like such a great idea to take advantage of!

So does the honors college have all the regular SDSU majors... except with extra cool classes and required classes? How would you recommend it for someone who wants to study in the medical field (biological sciences for example)?

Sometimes it’s difficult to get into the classes you need/want but the classes aren’t hard they’re super fun :)

I am a year late lol, but I just got accepted to SDSU!!! Is there a separate application for the honors college? Is there a deadline? Can I join once the year starts?

I'm pretty sure you can apply for sophomore year the deadline was March 2nd I think.

hi yes the honors dorm is zura!! its near the cluster of the other dorms like tenocha & Maya & Olmeca! they're super nice!!
