    Dude! I love the vids keep it up!
    I'm a First year and I was struggling with the work and I tried looking up RUclipsrs that can help me. I found some but no one has helped me as effective as you did. Sorry for comparing but other RUclipsrs TAKE SO LONG at explaining what I want to know and sometimes they don't even explain that well or its way to long and boring. That I start to lose interests and moves on. You are so different and I love it!
    Good work !!

    Name a better pair than Photoshop and Indesign. I'll wait 😅. Indesign and photoshop have to be in the top 5 softwares every architecture student needs. I think what I love about it the most is how it organises your creativity into something easily understood. You're killing it Rasha, well done my friend!

      Surviving Architecture How to do the best combinations of shapes when you have little space. In this you did everything in squares... I was wondering for example putting the plan on top of an ‘empty’ space of a render. Of something like that. Thank you so much! Love your videos.

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  Год назад

      For a portfolio you dont need the drawings to be to scale excpet a few large peices which you can print of at A1 etc. Each school have different requirements to their portfolio submission so i would make sure with your teachers. You can also use a scale bad. In this spesific board all drawings are to scale. I was working on an A0 sheet.

    How can we scale the image in the software for example I am given a scale of 1/8"=1'-0" so how can I do this in Indesign, photoshop and illustrator?
    Please help me out it would be very helpful.
    Thanks

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  Год назад +1

      Do you want the scale to be useable when printed? If so then you can always add a scale bar that is to scale. It is also worth noting when teachers ask for a scale on portfolio it could also be that they want it on a large pape such as an A1 drawing size which having a scale is no issue. I hope this helps.

    Hey This helped me a lot but unfortunately my faculty demands presentations on rollups which are 110x220 i would be more than happy if you could share a nice layout even as a FDF file for that kind of size or if you could even make a video it would be awesome p.s subscribed , amazing videos

    와우! 정말 혁명적인 프로그램이네요. 일러스트레이터보다 더 편한 것 같아요. 하지만 딱딱한 느낌이 드는 것은 일러스트레이터랑 동일한 것 같네요 .. ㅠ 포토샵처럼 부드러우면서 유동적인 느낌을 줄 수 있으면 좋을 것 같은데...

    does cropping and resizing your plans and sections to fit into the little boxes ruin your scale?

    • @SurvivingArchitecture
      @SurvivingArchitecture  5 лет назад

      When you bring in files on InDesign they are true to size and do not scale down. I find it best to check what size the boxes are and then create my photoshop canvas so I don't waste time doing something that will get cropped. Hope this helps :)
