Thank you for this demonstration!!! It would be terrific if you demonstrated how to set the tiny, TINY tourmaline’s!…they are so tricky to set when they are so small and flat also, how to use tiny stones in your jewelry ❤
It’s so hard to find bronze sheet and wire in the UK. I managed to get yellow solder to use with gold filled stuff. Flows fine even with my little torch. It would be useful if you would give some sizes in mm for small, medium large stones. I often wonder what size the stones you are using are.
Yes, protects clear would work great. I used to use it often. The reason I like this product better is that because it is sticky as it is drying, it litterally grabs and hold the foil. If protects clear works for you then use it!
I literally tried soldering what I thought was filigere brass to the back of a silver bezel but it turned copper and super pickle turned it black with some gold spots. I left it copper and set petroleum quartz in the bezels. The copper looks nice shining through, but I would have loved the gold color
Yes! I love the gold. I found the same experience when I pickled my bronze. Looked copper. After scrubbing, polishing and liver of sulfur everything came up to the same color.
Fantastic!!! definitely more on brass and bronze please please
Sounds good. I love bronze
So rich looking! Gorgeous...thank you Susan!
I am loving this new color . I wife used silver for so long
I’m so happy you’re showing us brass and bronze so sad that you can’t deliver intentional metalsmithing to me
Thanks! I am going to mentor another intentional metalsmithing
In august 2025.
