- UN75F6300, UN75F6400 Dark shadow on the screen FIXED. Replacing defective LEDS on 75 inch Samsung LED TV. Samsung UN75F6300 have the same problem.
PLEASE NOTE: After replacing LEDS, heavy duty scotch tape needs to be apply, to press LED STRIPS to the body of the metal frame. It will insure that heat from LED strips will dissipate the most heat.

Excellent Video! Thank you for posting!! Let me ask you this.... Why is it that just about everything Samsung makes, turns out to be absolute crap!?? We purchased all new higher end Samsung black stainless appliances in 2018. In the first year the microwave failed twice. The oven part of the range failed twice, the fridge ice maker froze over daily and stopped producing ice. The metal finish is so thin that it dents with almost no pressure. Now our 2 year old 75" OLED backlight has failed on the right side. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT EVER AGAIN.
nice work, paul!
Thank you!
Hi Paul. I may need to undertake this operation on a samsung un75j630d. Couple questions: is the screen plastic? Is the bevel removal self explanatory? If needed, how does one find the correct replacement led strips? Thank you
Have a similar issue on a un75j6300. Have you worked on those?
Yes we did.
Paul i have an 75 in sony i had it for over 2 years now an the screen went out doing the hurricane here in miami. I dont have warranty but i love this tv i dont wanna throw it away. Can you pleas help me🙏
How are the bars stacked under the glass? (I suspect a magic wand).
We have to lift a screen just a little bit and insert bars under. Total 3 bars for the screen and 3 bars for filters. No magics. :)
Cool crane !
you kind of took the hard route.. you should have bought the individual leds and solder them yourself. would have been much easier and cleaner. either way, good job.
When replacing individual leds, you need to know specs (LED datasheet) and replace it with exactly the same. We would loose a lot of time until we'll get them. Yes, I agree that job would be cleaner, but we didn't want to waist any time and we had couple of donor strips from the same model.
Thank you for your comment.
@@PaulsTVCo I'd like to see a video of how you soldered those strips in. interesting.
I have a tv like this screen was all messed up replaced tcon now good but top half dark bottom good with lines in middle st8 across u think some leds are bad looks like they fire all up😣
good job
Thank you!!!
So I just got this TV again... For the second time.. this time I have a good screen.. and more living room space.. although this TV I got actually caught fire as there is ashes inside the TV making the screen very crappy to see.. nothing that a good cleaning can fix.
When you replace LEDs, you need to make sure you'll use the same specs leds. Not only that, I always do modification to the power supply. By reducing the voltage from 100% to 80-85% will prevent leds to go bad as fast as they do. TV in this video was fixed almost a year ago and no problems as of yet. Couple more TVs with the same model we fixed about 2-3 years ago and they are fine too.
Paul's TV Co I ended up cleaning it, replacing the LEDs with the original ones and I just watch it with about 80 percent lower than the brightest betting.
Hi just 2 question..
1-can you disassemble the tv with the screen down? I mean let the screen over a soft surface...
2- in the video looks like you cut the section of the led strip and just solder the edge with a wire.. is it correct?
Hello,
1 - You can't disassemble the tv with the screen down, because you'll need to remove front bezel first.
2- Yes, it is correct.
I have to do this job on this same TV, good luck to me trying to take the screen off without cracking it :/
Easy
i have exactly the same problem but i am in united arab emirates.... how you can help me and how much the charge
hi i have the same issue with a un65js9000 i have shadow on the middle of the screen so probably ill change the backlight led. how much you think the fix will cost me? btw really good job!
Hello,
JS9000 models has only 2 strips of leds on the bottom. To disassemble your model is not as easy as F6300.
Chances to crack the screen on JS9000 are much higher that on F6300.
Yes, I opened couple of curved TVs. The screen is not curved. The metal body is curved, but not the screen itself. It is possible to fix, but damaging the screen during removing and reinstalling are high.
hi thank you for your answers i finally tryed to fix it but like you said its not the easiest job to do! i finally throw it and bought a vizio p series!
So it can be fix
Nice job!! I got also a great broblem,we got a "new" cinema machine, fullhd led 75 inch samsung UE75F 6475 and-

Hello,
Yes, you can find them on e-bay. Just type UN75F in the search box and you'll see LED strips. I'm sure they will be the same.
