I JUST watched your tutorial and LOVED IT!! I have a question as I would like to try this decorating method. Does the iced cake need to be cold (kept cold) while palette painting?? Thank you for sharing your talent. ~Kelle
Hi Kelle, so glad you enjoyed watching it. It's better to work on the chilled cake which has a harder surface! So when you decorate it the surface will stay as is. Hope this helped! Thanks !!
Lovely colours and design. Thanks for sharing. Just a quick question - does adding all that food colouring make the buttercream bitter and does it transfer to your teeth and mouth?
Hi Hi! Thank you for the great question. Actually food coloring doesn't really have taste BUT You'll need to use more than a double of amount in order to make the color that I used for cake body, so it's another tip to use less food coloring and make a dark&deep color :D I hope that helped, Thank you!
Since the buttercream has its sweetness, the mixture of buttercream and cocoa powder is balanced together. It's not bitter, It's lightly sweet, and you'll taste a nice dark cocoa flavor, Try my Italian meringue recipe and mix them. :D ruclips.net/video/oKlBsKu18wA/видео.html
Hi Kim, I have a separate fridge for a cake, when it's fully covered I just store it in the fridge but the best is keeping it in the cake box. Even I used a regular household fridges the cakes were find. Maybe check the fridge temperature setting or try a different frosting/buttercream and see if you have the same problem. I hope that helps!

@@BKFloralDelight Thanks
also, does the buttercream taste differently when you add the cocoa? does the buttercream taste bitter?
