I commented on a recent video you posted about how I appreciate that you are just the two of you homesteading, because it's more relatable to me that most RUclips homesteaders who have like 3 kids. Another thing I find wonderful and relatable about you is the lack of gender rolls in your relationship, it looks far more like my real life than most RUclips homesteaders, where the woman is inside, cooking and homeschooling, and the man is outside working the farm and do the animal chores, and the wife and kids jsut come out to work the garden or sometimes milk a cow or goat. Its wonderful that Eric makes cinnamon rolls and Ariel goes hunting! This s how the majority of people actually are in this day and age, I feel!

Everything from scratch. My mouth was literally watering. I vote for the enchiladas also, but hey, I really want one of everything. What a treat to watch.
Hi guys. One trick you might want to try with bell peppers is to freeze them hard in a unsealed baggie for one day. Then seal them quickly from air, don't let them thaw any. This seem s to keep them crisper when you put them out to use them. It might be because the unsealed freezing dries the cells out a little so they don't break so much during the regular freezing process, so not turning to mush when thawed. I do this for mine because I usually just cook for my self.

I’m just here to say thank you for your channel!🙏🏼 I love watching it 💗
with how the moose bone broth sets up you guys should make soup dumplings, best of both worlds!
I have come to realize after watching this that although I eat what I can/freeze/preserve...by comparison, its boring...lol. Good job!
I enjoy all of your videos but my personal favourites are your foodie videos. Thank you for the insight into your culinary world.
You guys need to make a cookbook......I've been buying frozen ground elk after watching your food fests.
Can never go wrong with a Le Creuset Dutch oven. All the meals looked delicious.

Haha how funny ive seen one of their shows lol what a small world!!
Well now, I have to whip something up for myself. The fact that you both can toss it, substitute what you lack makes it very interesting. The fun part is, that I can savor the taste, as you work and can almost smell the results. I spent much of my childhood in kitchens with chefs and enjoy eating. Thanks so much for sharing, it helps while I hunker down and avoid the corona.
This was very enjoyable to watch! The lasagna noodles being homemade looked so easy, going to have to try that now, as I do not like the store boughten ones. I can’t wait to see the breakfast week! 🍳 Blessings from Ohio!
are the noodles boiled after rolling out ???
and are there recipes any where for the enchiladas or any of this lol
Howdy guys... My husband and I started watching you guys before you were Alaska citizens. It's fun to see how far you both have come. We really enjoy watching your adventures. We are learning a lot and love your super cool recipes. We did notice in a couple of your videos when you were in your garden and heard you say, "there are a lot of weeds!'
My suggestion is for you to find a foraging book. Because I saw a lot of edible plants in there. I'm continuing to learn these things myself and wanted to pass it along to you.
You are both doing an amazing job at making living in Alaska fun. We love your chickens!!!
Happy Living. Peace, Kevin and Tina
Please write a cookbook, my husband and I would buy it immediately!! And please put gardening tips and fotos of the beautiful landscape in there 😍 Another amazing video, we love you guys, you are truly living the dream! Best Wishes from germany from our little family to yours and everybody who reads this. Let us all stay save and well 🍀🍀🍀🙋🏼♀️🙋🏻🐶🐶🐶🐱🐱🍀🍀🍀
Impressed with the use of chopsticks. Expertly done. Bravo!
I would Love to quit my job and live like this. Simple Life.
I love the way you just stand around the table eating. Great stuff. I loved it.
If you haven’t gone over it already, I’d love to know how you care for your cast iron!!
Check out cowboy kent Rollins channel for cast iron care and some great recipes.
They do have a video about that 👍🏼 but I’m a boomer and can’t remember when? Or where .😄😄🍳🍳🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
Yes!! Cookbook time for you two, I do believe. Please- please! 🌺😊🌺
