I have the 8 inched rifled adapter from shortlane. It will shoot a 3 inch group at 50 yards all day with brass cased ammo. I will try at 100 when the weather clears. Shortlane makes great products.
Harder extraction isn't because the steel cases expand more, it is because the brass cases are more flexible and contract more after firing. Both steel and brass can only expand to the size of the chamber.
Nice brother I got the 22lr one and loved it so I just ordered the 9mm the same at that one it looks good. And I was looking but can only find them 2 on the site in 3in
Thanks for the video. I'm interested in a 12G/22LR or 12G/17HMR combo for hunting. How big is your zero shift between the parent caliber of the shotgun vs the adapter caliber (9mm)?
Would these adapters work for a slam fire shotgun? Does the pistol caliber have a higher psi or does the adapter buffer out some of the pressure for the black iron pipe?
***** that would be greatly appreciated! It beats spending $150+ to have a gunsmith put on adjustable sights. I'll be looking forward to that video. Thanks for your time!
No because the bore centerline is rising up to meet the centerline of sight at 30 feet and crosses above line of sight at 50 feet. At some point gravity will bring the projectile back down to line of sight at say 300 feet.
Marsh Rat yessir, i chambered one but i wasnt sure if i should fire it, my .410 is full choke, i made some reloading tools for the plastic hulls and have a bunch of .444 Marlin i modified to work in it as well,, thx bud appreciate the input
You ain't finding 9mm ammo at walmart. They dont sell pistol ammo anymore. I have this package of 7 SL zombie adapters for my savage 24 (20ga) and they are NOT accurate in smooth bore 3 inch. You need at least 7 inch rifled adapters in my honest opinion. You can also find 12-15 inch sleeves on ebay to buy individually.
Why not have the option to use it? sure 12ga is superior, but 9mm has it purpose. Ever shot a squirrel with 12ga at close range ? do the same with 9mm and you can still eat the squirrel. Its like using a wrecking ball to put a nail in the wall, instead of using a hammer. If you have the option to use a hammer, then why not.
It's interesting but kind of impractical. Your pistol has a longer barrel. I think it could be more useful for any number of situations chambered for nothing smaller than .357mag and closer to 10" in length. Good review.

GREAT REVIEW BROTHER GOD BLESS. KEEP THOSE VIDEO'S COMING I'M STILL LEARNING
are you still alive?????????
Can't wait to see a video on how you mounted the red dot. Could you also include how you mounted the flashlight as well?

No problem Brother, keep up the videos!
wow than that works way better than I thought it would.
Very cool! Not even bad grouping at 50'!
That's pretty impressive.
Very good demonstration and explanation. Thanks for sharing!
Cool product.. Good video Ryan!
I've seen adapters in 410 for h&r gna check for .22lr .thanks for sharing.

That is a very coil product. Looks like the performance is very good
This is awesome , never seen this before
That's really cool. I'm all about multi-caliber guns

Nice unit, Thanks for sharing. Great review.
What gun were you using? Would you expect the longer adapters of this type to improve accuracy by how much?
I got the 8 in. rifled .22lr coming in and I want to collect .22mag cal. 9mm cal. and .45Colt also in the 8 inch version !!!
Would these adapters work for a slam fire shotgun? Does the pistol caliber have a higher psi or does the adapter buffer out some of the pressure for the black iron pipe?
honestly cant answer that one as i have never used a slam fire.
I'm shocked of how good it shoots
Pretty neat item to have.
Not bad, can I request another test at 25 and 50 yards? For a SHTF gun, if it can't group well I'd rather just use slugs.
You rock.
What mount did you use for the red dot? I have 12 to 45acp coming in and would like better sight options for my h&r topper. Thanks

Shooting at 50ft with the scope sighted for 30ft shouldn't result on lower hits instead of higher?

Cool Idea Thanks For Showing It.. Thanks.
good shtf adapters !
Nice review and thanks for the link. Subbed ya.
Interesting concept
Very cool Guys Nice JOB
Why don't they make the adapter longer, like half of the barrel?
they make 8 inch adapters as well.
They make a 18 inch
ZRUS...what scope base are you using? I need to get one for my 20 gauge.
As always, love yer videos!
Thanx man! That is actually a shotgun light mount from amazon, you can see it in this video.

really cool, been wantin these for mine... wait, i dont have one,, looks like an excuse to git a 12ga to match my .410 single...
***** no kiddin, im on it, soon as i git off work...heck i was gonna work an old 9mm barrel down to fit the .410, no sense in it now
***** did you know that a 45 Colt (not ACP) will fit your 410 perfectly?
Marsh Rat

at the end you say 30 yards instead of feet...kinda confused me?
does it come in 20 gauge?

Nice vid...I ordered the 8" 9 mil. I hope it's a bit more accurate and thanks to you for the link to gunadapters.com .

There are 8-inch, rifled adapters available as well from Short Lane.
