Edward Norton is a good actor, but he just plays roles. He hasn't done anything truly transformative. Andy Circus is a guy who can make you believe he's a gorilla. He's an actor on a whole other level. The true best actors are the ones who are a little bit crazy. Andy Circus choked Elijah Wood so hard in playing Gollum that he burst the blood vessels in woods neck and they had to stop shooting for the day. That's the kind of transformation I've never seen from Norton.

People still care about Edward Norton? After he went full diva and wanted more money for Avengers, I stopped thinking about this guy.

You have to remember of Hollywood... the money is GETTING made. Avengers makes the billion dollars with or without Edward Norton. So it's either going to Norton, or going to some executive whose name you don't know. Capitalism dictates that you name your price at what work is worth to you. Norton felt his contribution would be around the level of Downey's and Disney disagree. That's the end of it. There's no "full diva". Only an idiot is going to do work for less than they believe they are worth so that money can go to somebody else. Disney is fine with it. Norton is fine with it. Life goes on. That's business.
Yes, anyone who can't appreciate his continually great work beyond a movie like Avengers is missing out, especially if it's just because of some hearsay as to why he didn't reprise a role.
