my god i wish i had a wrist bucket like that at times. I do ditches and swales with a regular bucket usually, comes out great but takes forever. i could do miles and miles with that setup 3x as fast. and with trimble, game over. easy peasy. I'd like that setup on a wheeled excavator like a cat 322 more than anything
Tiltrotator really is a game changer, makes the excavator into a different machine. Kinda difficult at first but give it couple days and you don't have to think the controls anymore.
I can see that you and comments below are excited about this rotating bucket. steelwrist and encon is mounted on 9 of 10 new escavator here in Sweden over 12 ton and 50% of the minis have rotating bucket. this vid 3D and gps system is a standard on bigger construction sites like roads or bigger appartment building sites. it's expensive yes but if you don't have that on your escavator you don't get any bigger contracts. like your videos and are a thankful long subscriber to your channel. it's education to se how others do and solve issues🤓
What made you ditch steel wrist for Engcon? I’m about to buy my first excavator and I want to order it with a tilt rotator. My dealer talked down the Engcon because it uses their proprietor buckets only.
Hey Ninja, Great video! The screen was really bright and hard to see. I wondered if you know about the dark background mode for night works? Go to the Menu, then Main Screen Views, then select "Dark" background mode which is the top item in the list Cheers!
They're also pretty rare here in New Zealand Dirt Ninja. Been running one on my cat 308 for a month now and love it. (Vid on my page if you wanna see) Definitely interested in going to a Trimble system too but they are around $25000 here

It is built for and use for both. You can put any kind of bucket on the rotator

Backhoe. Its what I grew up on and I never switched
