Cracker Night is the opening night gala of the Festival. Featuring a dazzling line up of the biggest and best Australian legends, international stars and next big things of comedy.
Got to have a few drinks and hang out with him after a show he did for us while I was in the army. Truly just the nicest guy, he didn't have to hang around after the show but he stayed for 4 hours after just shooting pool and talking with those of us that hung around.

Jimeoin is so funny and doesn’t have to stoop to swearing or sex jokes to make you laugh. It’s a breath of fresh air.
He does swear but not as much as other comedians for sure

Just as there are many funny Aussie blokes, too. And some that are just plain nasty or stupid, etc.

Sadly, because we Aussies don't have a good chat show or late night show anymore, where local and international comedians could go on and do some of their material, or where celebs go on to talk about their latest film or artists talking about their latest album.
I agree, I could watch Jimeoin crack jokes all night and still want more.

I laugh a little when I'm mildly amused.
I laugh out loud when I find it fairly funny.
And when someone truly cracks me up, no sound comes out at all. My mouth is just wide open and my whole body just shakes up and down with the laughter.
If I end up with sore facial cheeks and a sore stomach in stitches, that's when I know I've had a hilarious time.
That's how Jimeoin makes me feel whenever I go to see him in one of his live shows or I watch his videos on YT or watch his dvd's that I've bought. He always crack me up.

New material from Jimeoin? What other signs of the apocalypse are there? I just laughed to Jimeoin for the first time since I was a kid, and saw him do his eyebrows routine, then follow it up with the getting into a hot bath bit, for the dozenth time.
youtube makes it hard on comedians. ain't easy to come up with new material. Comedians in the past used to be able to ride many years on the same shit because only people that came to the shows would actually know about it. Now everybody can see it all the time. It sucks.
