- This clip features the comedian Jimeoin from the show For One Night Only
After the creative success of Saturday Live Again, broadcast in December 2007, ITV decided to commit to more comedy and music on ITV1 for 2008. The result was a co-production with ITV Productions called For One Night Only, a huge-scale variety music and comedy spectacular. Each week the show had a different pair of co-hosts - Vernon Kay and Joan Rivers anyone? - and just to make things more exciting, the series went out live (although the third one had a scheduling tussle with X Factor and had to transmit a little later). The show featured huge mainstream pop stars - Pink, Rihanna, Will Young, Pussycat Dolls, Tom Jones, Michael Bublé- all bumping shoulders in the narrow corridors at Fountain Studios with stand-ups like Milton Jones, Will Smith, Stephen K Amos and Mark Watson and a bunch of Chinese acrobats or a German wheel dancer or whichever crazy variety act had been booked that week....

Jimeoin has his physical to verbal comedy ratio down to a pat! Genius!

Never gets old these jokes
One of my favorites. Comedy from mere ways you look and the position of your eyebrows. Legendary.
the memory keeping was hysterical, and ''watching his clear memory go vague on him''...almost fell out of my chair laughing.
my chair has wheels.
As overused as this word is again and again when it need not apply, Jimeoin is a Genius

Someone said Jimeoin's nationality is 'northern' Irish, they were only half right (no, actually, only 1/3 rd right) -- 'Northern Irish' isn't a nationality (that's a term only brits use):: he's...IRISH.
It would be more accurate to say he's British *and* Irish. Northern Irish people (like myself) are eligible for both passports (for example). However, depending on family tradition, one would normally only use one or the other nationality to identify oneself. Jimeoin would probably also call himself Australian as I believe he lives there.
No, he's not british, he himself will tell you he is Irish -- he makes a joke of it in one of his routines;; 'Irish' is not a term to be abused and called 'british' by putting 'Northern' in front of it -- only someone british would do that.
He is British, at least in *some* ways, even if not in others. And using the term 'Northern Irish' isn't really related to being British or Irish, nor is it complicated- it is used to describe someone from Northern Ireland.
I don't understand, nor have much interest in, your understanding of being British- you're not British if you're born in the United Kingdom, but you're British if you use a particular adjective?!
Well then, you tell Jim, face-to-face, that he's british -- if you have the nerve;; I was born in the british Colony of N.Ireland, I'm Irish -- no Irishman from BCONI would ever label himself 'Northern Irish' just as you won't hear someone say that they're 'Eastern French' or 'Western Scottish' --- you're 'british' if you are too 'ashamed' to be English or Scottish or Welsh -------- to say someone is "British and Irish" (as you said) is like calling someone 'Daesh and Christian' or 'Psycho and Sane'.
* People are forced, they have no choice, to put 'british' on their passport (a british passport) --- that's like the EU demanding that a German put 'European' for his nationality on his passport.
Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales are four of the NATIONS in the 6 NATIONalities Rugby --- NATive, NATion, NATionality, it's completely 'uncomplicated'.
Could you translate your comment into English -- I don't understand the Cretinese language.
he uses the same material everytime.
