Have you ever heard me say I’m not a cake decorator? I mean at all! Over 15-plus-years as a professional pastry chef, I was rarely in the position where I had to decorate a cake - never mind covering the thing in fondant.
So, why make marshmallow fondant? More traditional rolled fondant recipes require a few more ingredients and you more than likely won’t have them on hand. Marshmallow Fondant is a bag of marshmallows and icing sugar, That’s all you need.

@@pattiannepascual that was my question, too... but I’d call them vegetarian marshmallows (semantics, maybe, but ingesting gelatin is more base-level veg than the higher bar that veganism sets)

I love using marshmallow fondant over the store bought kind. A tip if you're having trouble with the elasticity/texture of your fondant is to add a little corn syrup (1-2 tsps) when melting the marshmallows. This yields pliable fondant that doesn't dry out as easily.

This is awesome 💟 I couldn't help but think of marshmallow ice cream after it was all melted down I just love your 2 ingredient ice cream it is a big hit with my kids I make all kinds for them the last one was peanut butter ice cream with peanut butter and chocolate swirl it didn't last long that's for sure 💜💚💟💛💙

I Made it yesterday and it was super liquidity so I put it in the fridge for the night and it settled enough. It tastes like rice pudding but the texture isn’t.
But it was still delicious!

Thanks a million! Go ahead and give this a go To store Fondant and use at a later date, cover it in a little vegetable oil (like below) and store it in an airtight bag. The less air the better so your fondant doesn’t dry out.
