In case anyone was wondering, when you live near sugarcane, black snow is what you call the ash that comes from it burning. It flies around and lands on washing, in pools, on cars, outdoor furniture. Very annoying.
We don't call it this where I live, but I know words and phrases vary region to region

Raised by Wovles is another pretty dope show with him in it. I think it was canceled after the second season, but if "different" is what you're after, it doesn't get much differenter than Raised By Wolves haha. Sci-fi wet dream

I like that he is almost reclusive, mysterious and rare to find. He is also an excellent actor.

Hiring Travis Fimmel as your lead is like placing an exclamation mark in the title.
Meh. Personally I think he's shit in everything but Vikings. He was perfect in that but just garbage in everything else I've seen him in. That Warcraft movie almost made me hate him he was so bad. And in that sci fi show he was on with that homely android lady with the shaved head he was pretty crap.

After watching Vikings, im convinced that you put this man in a movie and youve guranteed itll be worth a watch. His facial expressions are unmatched.

I really enjoyed this series! It was a perfectly slow paced and complicated whodunnit. There were lots of characters and switching from the past to the present, and Travis's character brought a whole other story as well...and it all worked. Well done!
Ill watch anything Fimmel is in. Such a great actor.

Success is not measured by achievement, being an excellent actor does not translate to winning an oscar.
Sucess is about doing all you can, in that recard he given us some memorable performances, he's acting in vikings was on point. I hope i have help you somehow
It's because Vikings was a TV show, not a movie. Oscars are for movies only. He hasn't been lucky with good movie roles. The fact that he lives in Australia, and not in the US, doesn't help either.

This looks good. Gritty, edgy, I like how some scenes were shot. Looking forward to it. I never heard of Fimmel, but it looks like he's got something.
I'd say Charlie is the British Travis Fimmel. Travis was one of the top male supermodel in the 90s (alongside Tyson Beckford, Mark Vanderloo, Marcus schenkenberg etc). He was the central character in Viking. Surprised you've never heard of him. Probably because his filmography is not as impressive as Charlie's

Travis has a movie on hulu about some Australian army in Nam I believe or Korea I didn't finish but once you see him in vikings your hooked never knew he did modeling

One of the actors in this, who I just caught a glimpse of, was the lead actor in 'Bad Boy Bubby' if you haven't seen it. In fact if you start to watch it, and can get through the first 20-25 minutes it's a great film,certainly v different!

This was ok. Bit slow at times but more than watchable
Always left you with a reason to start another episode. Poor guy just can’t shake Ragnar at all. So many mannerisms he uses it just screams Vikings. 😂
