@Juss 213 It is easy to understand what you're saying. I'm a 90's child myself. And during the early beginning of the show, occasionally, episodes would pass me by and others I would *watch* with one eye open or so. But I wasn't a fan and neither towards the end of the show, which I remember particularly, because of the widespread criticism to the Rachel & Joey fling then. Then I remember watching that final episode for the first time vividly and consciously 10 years ago, with Rachel & Ross at the airport, finally getting back together for good and hoping that in the next episode we would see momentum building on further from that. But instead being given a *taste* of the very first episode. Watching it and seeing how different it was in terms of looks, clothing, furniture and everything made you very surprised. But even then, I wasn't turning into a fan yet. It was not until a couple of years ago, when you reach that certain age, the themes are more relatable and you better understand how the world works, that I sincerely became a fan. Then you further realize how *amazing* the cast is once you read what they have gone through and where they are now. Also that certain episodes are brilliant and the the on- and off-screen chemistry between Matt and the rest was the *golden* key to success. They did *not* had to pretend to like each other, because they really did. No ego, arrogance or jealousy etc. All teamwork. That made everything so easy to work with. That is an amazing feat in itself. A job well done by the creators and James Burrows. It makes you appreciate the beautiful things in the show even more.

I love how the host makes an effort to talk about Top Gear first, rather than just ramble on about Friends. I get that’s what he is most known for, but god it must be so tiring to have to talk about the distant past all the time. There is an interview somewhere on RUclips where 45 seconds in Friends is mentioned, and then the rest of the interview is all about Friends. Respect to this interviewer for speaking about his current life 👏🏼👏🏼
He is just such a great guy! He seems like an old, wise man, who has lived a fulfilling life and is just happy the way everything is going, and has found his inner peace. And he's just so charming :)
Most tonight show hosts need to learn from this guy. This is how you conduct an interview. You ask a question, you let your guest take his time with the response. I've never understood how is it admissible by studios to let their hosts yap on about endlessly and not let the guests have their time on the show? Love you Skavlan!
When he said only 5 other people know that feeling.. I wish they would include " Gunther" he was there too since season 1! I know not every episode but was still there
He appeared in 93 of 236 episodes and in most of those 93 appearances it was a very, VERY brief cameo. It is NOT the same even REMOTELY as what the 6 of them experienced. There is unlikely to be anyone that would be chasing down James Michael Tyler for his portrayal of Gunther, news helicopters were not flying over his house for no other reason than that he was on the show the way they did for the actual cast. Come on. He was a cameo guest star - one fans liked, without a doubt, but not one that you can IN ANY WAY say had a comparable experienced to what the 6 "friends" had on the show.
Love him. He and Matthew (Chandler) were my favorites. And Friends will always be my favoriteshow. Love the humour, the groupchemistry and all the different problems or situations they got into. Always felt you were a part of their story.
Imagine being 39 years old, having tens of millions of dollars in the bank, being relatively handsome AND famous en then somebody telling you you don't have to do anything for 6 years and you can basically do anything you want. Sounds like heaven to me.
Great and humble guy. No wonder he and the entire cast on Friends got along so well. All very down to Earth people with an authentic and likable personality.
I remember friends would come on when I was a kid.. I bought the friends box series when I was 8 and I've watched the whole box over 10 times easily I'm sure, growing up with it I swear this show shaped my personality and humour a lot along with morals too! Everytime I watch it I still pick up dirty jokes that I had never understood when I was younger 😂

Never seen this before, literally the best interviewer, proper discussion, not two guys speaking on top of each other. Matt really is like the character Joey and I can definitely relate to the professional of doing nothing. I work my ass off if need be and when I get days off, I just want to be and do whatever.
C'mon people Matt LeBlanc: is NOT 67 YEARS OLD.. Born in 1967, He is 51...Born: July 25, 1967 (age 51) Matt LeBlanc’s net worth is estimated to be $80 million ...
What if I told you that Jennifer Aniston's net worth is $220 million..... But they deserve it honestly. For their commitment and doing the work while getting all that hate and criticism over them. Over their looks and private lives. Especially Jennifer had to deal a lot with is as you know. They were the golden key to success of the show. One actor would drop out and it would all come fall down.

I get that’s what he is most known for, but god it must be so tiring to have to talk about the distant past all the time. There is an interview somewhere on RUclips where 45 seconds in Friends is mentioned, and then the rest of the interview is all about Friends. Respect to this interviewer for speaking about his current life 👏🏼👏🏼
"My favorite thing in the world to do, like absolute favorite thing in the world to do is nothing" hahhahahaha
Monique Guerra Sounds like joey..😂
That sentence speaks to me on a spiritual level :)
Was just about to comment on this it’s so me ffs 😂😂
Lol the older I get the more I realize I love doing nothing too
Kkkkk
we need a friend movie!! or a reunion show!
There to old it wouldn't work
I’m pretty sure they were gonna make a friends movie but some of the actors in the show didn’t want to do it
I think David Scrimmer doenst want one
There is today😂
@@sr7olsniper Ross is an asshole
He is just such a great guy! He seems like an old, wise man, who has lived a fulfilling life and is just happy the way everything is going, and has found his inner peace. And he's just so charming :)
Gecko Gra He’s not old.
I mean.. He's a millionaire after all
If you dyed his hair black he would look exactly the same!
Cap
He was already dying his hair while filming Friends
Add on the extra old ppl chins lol
Hahah not quite
yes he would!
Thanks so much, Chintan!
Thank you for all the endless hours of happiness you have given me Matt
@@forcryinoutloud that's true
I miss joey
matt is a role model in success, taking care of your health and above all he's very humble
"My favourite thing in the world is to do absolutely nothing!" - Le Blanc is my spirit animal💯😂😂

cant believe he’s 52 this year 🥺❤️
he’s still the same joey/young matt in my eyes
Word on the street is he has a nice Porsche
This is underrated comment
Porsche-uh
Hey! It's Porsch-UH!
Word on the street is he’s that guy who puts a cover over cardboard boxes to make it look like he has a Porsche
Its Porsche-Shaaa.
Love him. He and Matthew (Chandler) were my favorites. And Friends will always be my favoriteshow. Love the humour, the groupchemistry and all the different problems or situations they got into. Always felt you were a part of their story.
jagelskarmcfly omg same! Matt and matthew!
10:10 I think a lot of people during COVID-19 are recognizing that this is truly important!
Imagine being 39 years old, having tens of millions of dollars in the bank, being relatively handsome AND famous en then somebody telling you you don't have to do anything for 6 years and you can basically do anything you want.
Sounds like heaven to me.
Yeah until your daughter is detected with dyslexia and your marriage is breaking up
Best comedian for me in the entire world.
Matt is a legend and very humble person.
Zafar Aman best comedian? Hardly. He is a good guy though.
Zafar Aman matt is a lovely guy isn't he. Yes very humble an sweet
Zafar Aman
He's an actor who played a comedic role.... That doesn't make him a comedian.
Matt is so fun, I love his interviews
Great and humble guy. No wonder he and the entire cast on Friends got along so well. All very down to Earth people with an authentic and likable personality.
"FRIENDS" the best TV show ever made!!!! Great interview, Matt is a funny and intelligent guy.
He has so much effortless charisma
I remember friends would come on when I was a kid.. I would watch it but never really understood it... fast forward to 15 years later I'm 20 years old now and it's honestly one of the best shows ever. So classic, funny and genuine. Now that I'm older I understand their jokes😂😂 They need to make season 11 👌👌
I bought the friends box series when I was 8 and I've watched the whole box over 10 times easily I'm sure, growing up with it I swear this show shaped my personality and humour a lot along with morals too! Everytime I watch it I still pick up dirty jokes that I had never understood when I was younger 😂
Gabi Livingston I don't know how many times I have watched it... But I never get bored watching it
only fat overweight woman in their 30s with no man, buy that shit, gabi you aint shit.
did you slept with another man 2 hours after the breakup? lol
Hey the pages are stuck together!!
Chandler!!
@@narutobase45 hi asshole
7:58 "Comedy is i a way humanity bandade". That's so true cause i know that for many years "FRIENDS" were and will continue to be mine bandade!
I like how courteous he is. Waits for the host to sit, listens attentively, speaks softly but clearly, never interrupts.
When he said “my favorite thing is to do nothing” Joey would have totally agreed to that.
When the guy said "67" he was talking about the year Matt was born...1967. He's 51.
I’m from Brazil and right now, I’m living in Ireland since November. I’m here to learn English and I don’t have any friends here.
My only friends here are: Joey, Chandler, Phoebe, Monica, Rachel and Ross.
I love that he looks back fondly on Friends. It was a phenomenon.
His comic timing is so natural. No wonder he was my favorite in Friends.
It’s so werid to hear him talk so smart I haven’t watched one of his interviews in awhile and I’ve been watching friends a lot
Comedy is bandaid to humanity! And I guess we'll all agree to it!🙌👏
A man blessed with eternal charm and good looks.
I'm 18 years old and I'm watching friends for the second time. I literally love it!💗 BEST SHOW EVER
I love how they both waited for the other one to sit first. From there you know they are respectful.
This interview was so refreshing! Why? Because interview let Matt speaks freely without sudden interruptions. Wish all talk shows were like this....
he is still and always gonna be handsome as hell ❤😍
Matt Leblanc is so cool man, just seems like a great guy... friends forever ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I've watched all 10 seasons of Friends from start to finish 8 times. Joey has always been my favorite character.
Still has such a beautiful smile
Loved this interview. It made me reminisce about Friends. For some reason I didn’t get sad about how much time had passed. Matt LeBlanc was so young when Friends premiered, but in this interview he is so endearing, & made me realize why Joey was my favorite “Friend”.
10:17 I've never related to Joey more...
I mean Matt...
No, I meant Joey...
you know what i mean
I mean shut your mouth ok
U have to stop the Q tip when there's resistance
Dr. Drake Ramoray
Can’t imagine ending something that’s 10 years long. That’s bittersweet.
Ive never watch any series this much
just started watching friends , its so sad watching these people old . really it break my hearts
Precisely why I love this show: they allow the guests to speak and the host listens. What a novelty. Take a tip, America.
awww matt leblanc is the sweetest thing ever
This is such a charming interview!! The interviewer is actually cute😂😂 he's really nice. And Matt? He's still very very charming 😂💙💙
How he is sadddd and almost to cry but he hide his teers behind his laugh 😟I love you man 💋 go ahead 👍👍👍💋
Never seen this before, literally the best interviewer, proper discussion, not two guys speaking on top of each other. Matt really is like the character Joey and I can definitely relate to the professional of doing nothing. I work my ass off if need be and when I get days off, I just want to be and do whatever.
I love how he looks. Even more when he was young. He is so awesome!
That show was brilliant! Watched it at least 10 times, I know the lines, but I can never get enough of it. I absolutely love it. It was amazing!
10:14 “I should be a professional nothing”
Same
C'mon people Matt LeBlanc: is NOT 67 YEARS OLD..
Born in 1967, He is 51...Born: July 25, 1967 (age 51)
Matt LeBlanc’s net worth is estimated to be $80 million ...
MrMustard2U he said 67 as in the year he was born in . Eg 1985 is ‘85’
What if I told you that Jennifer Aniston's net worth is $220 million..... But they deserve it honestly. For their commitment and doing the work while getting all that hate and criticism over them. Over their looks and private lives. Especially Jennifer had to deal a lot with is as you know. They were the golden key to success of the show. One actor would drop out and it would all come fall down.
For every single episode in the last season of friends each of them got 1 million.
@@dvchel Why you say "What if I told you" like you're the only one who knows this information..... It's literally one click away for everyone on Google but thanks for enlightening us wise master...
@@G-24x I was referring to DuckDuckGo, which is better by the way, and also other multiple libraries where to find the information you're looking for to know the six actors were the golden key to the enormous success of the show. Earning their money and share fairly.
Omg!! I just can't stop thinking the "JOEY" in him till the end. His expressions reminds me of his character ❤️❤️
He looks so great esp with that white hair and his smile has become more beautiful
Joey was always my fave. Was so sad he and Rachel never made it.
SAMEEEE
My GF and I always argue over this!! She hated Joey and Rachel together and I think they were perfect for each other!!
@@G-24x Except they would have had some really dumb kids. lol
Oh my gash!!! i thought so too.
I’m not even sure where this show broadcasts from in the world but I have to say I very much enjoy this host and this interview. Talk show interviews in the US are so rushed and shallow, this was a very change of pace for me. I hope you are healthy and happy, keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for that, we truly appreciate it!
Skavlan thank you as well! Keep it up friend
