  • JASON BECKER "NUMBERS" GUITAR FROM ‪@KieselGuitarsTV‬ !
This guitar is special to me because of the man it pays tribute to Jason Becker is not only one of my favourite guitarists but also a huge inspiration to me in so many ways. His talent is unmatched and it's beyond incredible what he was able to accomplish both musically and professionally at such a young age. If using this amazing guitar helps introduce Jason to even a handful of players, then it's worth every penny :)

The history of the guitar is that. ok remember that wooden trolley with wooden bricks in it with colored numbers/letters on them when you were a kid if your within a certain time frame, hey they might still make them. Jason wanted it to look like a child's toy your Abc blocks.

Damn! While I try not to judge a book by its cover, I was shocked when you pulled out the shredder beast.
Fun fact, that guitar is a copy of the original one, which was a Peavey. The original was built for Jason by Jim DeCola, same guy who designed the Wolfgang. He's currently a master luthier with Gibson.

First of all, congrats on the new guitar.
Second, because I see a lot of idiots with ''Uhm.. it looks like a toy.."-comments: yes, that's the point.
The original guitar was designed by Jason's dad, inspired by some wooden toys he had made for Jason, when he was little.
The prototype was actually build by Peavey, but Jason then got an endorsement deal with Carvin which is now Kiesel and they build this tribute model, based on the original. ( Other than the headstock it's identical, Mark Kiesel also designed the famous ''Blouie'' guitar back in the day and you can get a ''Blouie'' tribute from Kiesel also.) The Seymour Duncan bridge pickup is based on a custom humbucker, they've made for Jason in the early 90's, before he got diagnosed with ALS and it's basically a JB, with less output build according to Jason's specs, the neck pickup is a good old Jazz.
John Mayer & Nita Strauss have both one of those, the original was auctioned off last year by Jason.

People often joke that this i a guitar for people who don't know how to play guitar and need numbers, but beyond that being stupid because of who's guitar this is modeled after (Ha!) but it's unironically a FANTASTIC guitar for someone who *teaches* guitar.
