I have an old IBM messenger bag that has lots of little compartements for something like a powerbank, lipbalm and pens bellow the flap. Saddly it’s falling apart and the Timbuk2 commute messenger bag seems to offer the closest experience I‘m looking for. I need a bag to Hang around my shoulder and it needs to have a handle so I can use it as a briefcase, just like you mentioned it in the video. But i really like to stick things in my bag in an organized place and I don’t know if this bag offers exactly what Im looking for…
There are pockets in the bag that can fit iPads or kindles, and I just clipped a pen onto one of those. Or even more often I’d just have a pen in my pocket. You can always use some generic pencil case if you wanted too.
It would be tight. I don’t think it would fit in the designated laptop area on the back of the bag, but it would fit in the main large compartment of the bag.
