Needing to replace my 25L Fenruien business backpack, I decided to take a look and compare the Nomatic line of 14L backpacks....the 14-17L Backpack and the 14-21L Travel Pack.

The naming on these similar bags is so confusing. You are doing an amazing service to all of us. Thanks so much for this detailed video.
Great comparison! I always wondered how these two might compare side-to-side. This way, it was very easy to spot the differences
This is the best video I’ve seen on these packs, thank you!
you did a great job in showing what i wanted to see! your video is better than all the other videos
Fantastic overview of both packs. You really cleared up some confusion for me. Thanks so much!☮️
You’re a legend man. Most videos are either 4 years old and no longer relevant or does a bad job comparing. This was the best video so far. Now I’m thinking about also getting the travel pack since there’s a sweet deal for it on Costco next. After 4 months of owning and using it is there anything you wanna add or warn us about?
Thanks man. Wish I knew about that Costco Next deal. Great prices.
Bag is holding up well and absolutely no regrets. Just the right size for my needs.
5 year Nomatic back pack user here. Used the V1 and V2 travel pack 20L daily and heavily. The zipper track WILL fail over the years, especially the curvy part of the main compartment and the laptop compartment near the top.
Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE the Nomatic backpack and have purchased a second one. All two bags (V1 and V2) are REPLACED FOR FREE under the Lifetime Warranty.
the customer support said that they are aware of the zipper track problem and are working on a new version of the bag that will address it. But the release date is unknown. If you have a old/current version of the bag, they will replace it with the same version (if in stock) or newer
Thanks for the detailed feedback. Really appreciate it.
Has the new version been released?
Very useful comparison. Thank you!
owning some product from nomatic and while they have some quirks, I always go to them for various travels. I see the design and features got updated (more like removed features like the tablet compartment on the travel model). They definitely need some updates though like on the new versions of competition backpack, yet they are trusty, solid and consistent companions.
Thank you for the nice video.
I am 5.6 ft tall (170 cm). I really like the Nomatic Travel Backpack, but I am not sure about the 20 or 14 liter version. I doubt the 20 liter would be too bulky and unstylish for me. I will use it as an everyday backpack. I need a sleek and corporate look, to carry a PC and documents like a lawyer without needing a briefcase which I don't like. I might be traveling for 2 or 3 days. I don't want to lose a lot of functionality and organizational ability because that's what makes it a Nomatic. What size of backpack do you recommend? I really apreciatte your advice
Thank you for sharing
A question! The computer-pockets on The Backpack inside the main compartment, are they not detachable? I saw some other video they are attached with velcro to the back and can easily be taken out to give more space inside!
How do they differ in weight between the two? Is it noticeable on a day to day basis?
The travel bag weighs more than the backpack…somewhat noticeable empty but once loaded it’s negligible. Mind you, these are generally heavier backpacks than all of my previous bags. The materials are thicker, the bag is sturdier and with more features comes the weight. You notice it the first few days but the features and functionality outweighs it for me. Of course I would like it to be lighter but not at the expense of the features.
What are the sizes of backpacks?
Roughly 17.5”H x 11”W x 5-6”D per their website
@@zjunlimited Thank you
How is zipper quality. It seems couple of times it was not smooth?
@@mohammedasfour6364 beautiful, smooth. no jamming.
