Andy and Reuben rolled with it by not telling the rest of the cast so they'd get their genuine reactions, and by rebuilding the tank to keep it from breaking with Tom's added weight.
I find that hard to believe. He bit through a lobster. That was obviously a prop, not a real lobster, meaning they were prepared for him to do that. Because it wasn't improvised.
My favourite love story of all time,, and before anyone tries to be like “they’re just friends” or whatever,, in the comics it is very explicitly a love story,, and I quote “in the church…. Agony”
Really loved Eddie's and Venoms relationship in the comics, I enjoyed the movie and we can kind of see the romantic interest without the darker aspects. Can't wait for the second one.

That what makes me love this movie even more. Eddie has a realistic reaction to the fact that a symbiote--an alien life form--now inhabits his body. All these heros get a superpower or face crazy situations all of a sudden and aren't even fazed in most movies .
I saw Venom 2x in the movie theatre when it came out. I love this movie so much. I love Venom and Eddie's relationship. Its such a charming movie. I didn't miss Spider-Man in this.
The problem was that Spider-Man is instrumental in making Venom a villain. He attached to Peter Parker first and felt the strongest he ever has. After separating, Venom is obsessed with reattaching to Peter, and Eddie is fueled by his hatred for Spider-Man. They make a perfect match
spider-man is a big part of who venom is, but deadpool had a larger effect on him. it is canon that deadpool was the host for but a moment before peter was. and no one should get into deadpool's head, thats not a save place to be. xD and being deadpool's host gave venom this unstable obsessive personality. also, the comics where venom and eddie's obsession with spider-man isnt there anymore are beter in my opinion, makes them their own character and not have 90% of their identity be about spider-man. its good that they had that story arc, but some of the ones after that are just so much beter. and i like venom more as an anti-hero than a villian, much more interesting and more chance to write good stories for him than when he is being just another spider-man obsessed bad guy.
Funny to think that in the comics, Eddie and his Ex eventually have a kid, with said kid being half-symbiote. Venom going to Spidey for parenting advice sometimes, lol.

True but it doesn't take a genius to figure out his source though. That information was very privileged which narrows it way down, and it wouldn't take much effort to find out that his fiance was their lawyer. He should have been patient. With the information he had, he would know where to dig for more sources that can't be dismissed.

There's only two aspects of this movie I wasn't a big fan of: the villain and the girlfriend, the rest was a lot of fun. Also, that kiss in the woods must have been pretty awkward since that was actually Venom kissing Eddie. XD

I saw this in the cinema and I kid you not, I spent the ENTIRE movie with my nails dug into the arm rests. I was so fucking hyped for it. I barely ate, spoke or really breathed during the movie because I didn't want to miss anything. I quote this movie at least once a week. I love the banter between Eddie and Venom and I cried when I thought Venom sacrificed himself. It's an amazing movie and I rewatch this at least once a month usually. 🖤🌌

One thing i like about this movie is how Drake is constantly simulate what Eddie and Venom have while hes with Riot. When Riot speaks he always say "I need to/ I will / I want" while Venom always ways WE because since he first moment with Eddie he decided that they were a team now, Eddie got a trust of a symbiote in a few hours and Drake was trying to get that with Riot but Riot like venom said is a leader, he acts alone and he only used what he can to get that
I understand people not liking this Venom I myself was kinda disappointed knowing Venom would be born without Peter but this movie can be considered a "What If... The Symbiote never met Peter Parker?" Spidey and the alien never met because Spidey isn't there, which also mean Eddie can't hate Peter, which results in both Eddie and the Symbiote not really having any reason to be anything worse than a violent vigilante. This movie does make sense. What actually worries me is how "Carnage" will be portrayed, because that's a character that if doesn't slaughter people on screen, then it's a rape to it. (yeah, I haven't watched the sequel yet ;) )
I unironically loved this movie. Like I remember playing the Ultimate Spider-Man game where you got to play as Venom fighting wolverine in one of the first missions you play as him and ever since I’ve loved him. Also it helps that venom is just an asshole to Eddie the whole time

Love the reaction. Everyone always wonders about there being cameras in the lab. In an honest lab there would definitely be cameras everywhere but with the illegal experiments that Drake is doing he probably wouldn't have cameras as he would not want physical documentation of what he is doing.
Until they put this movie on TV, I had no idea at all what it was about. I gave it a shot because it had TH in it and was somehow a Marvel movie. I really wasn't sure that I would ever like it but I was shocked...I did lol! I've seen it like at least 7-8 times since FX added it. I really enjoy Tom nearly being an unwilling host and their funny exchanges. It's a cool movie. 😁

Why would the aliens permit themselves to be contained in containment compartments? A space crew figuring out how to contain but not kill these creatures is something I doubt humanity is capable of.

I always accept Venom changing because the symbiote has access to Eddie's memories, it sees the good Eddie has done and those he's interacted with.
