Just take away the hunger, just have her use trunks time machine, in a timeline that they wished it away, or bulma cured her. Maybe it could give her a form that is a mix of the 2, Snow White majin skin the glasses, scarlet hair, a thinner version of her tail. And maybe she shown up in battle of gods or shortly after resurrection of f. She could train with whis and be a god of destruction like the love universe version she only destroys the evil beings. Maybe broly could bond with her.
Sad Future Trunks never appears in the story besides a basic enemy. He’d have some nice interactions with Android 17, 16, 21 and even some of the Z Fighters like Tien. This was probably due to Super airing the Goku Black arc at the time where Future Trunks reappeared. Which is unfortunate.

21 would be a great addition to the Z Gang if it weren't for Piccolo and pan's teacher ship 21 and piccolo would've been an other great choice for him. Or Tien & 21 also a decent one.
