She's the kind of character I appreciate in anime. You know, the nerdy researcher types who are always fascinated with and shed some light on the things most casual watchers don't think about.
Not to mention how cute she is during the link events in story mode. There are times i wonder if she has feelings for the human fighter she is linked with.

Even if the lines were recycled, I wish the other characters had reactions to 21. The ones who reference her being like Buu could be passed, but at LEAST 17, 18, Trunks and Cell's lines asking if she's an Android would've been fitting.
I wish Bandai could of come up new dialogues such as mentioning her link partner she has fond of.

They always seem to add in the other character's responses later down the line. Sometimes i just randomly play the game and stumble upon so many character interaction quotes that i knew for sure didn't exist a few months back, they think they're slick lol
I don't think they'd call all the voice actors back to record 3 lines of dialogue. That said, I do hope they add response lines for them eventually.
Yeah, it's kinda lazy when the dlc characters have a special line but then the character they're fighting just uses recycled lines. It makes the interactions less impactful and half-assed

Only thing I'm disappointed with is how the older characters never get dialogue updates

Although, in the case of the two Broly's, Kid Buu and Janemba, it makes sense why they don't voice updates.

Technically she is canon, but it's just her human counterpart known as Vomi, and not exactly 21.
Evil 21 with Cell absorbed was like the perfect villain for this game's final story. The story was kind of a mashup and tribute to entire Dragon Ball Z series. She exemplified the Android saga and the Buu Saga both together while at the same time was a brand new character. From her being a combo of it's two biggest villains to the way she meets her end pretty much the same way Majin Buu did at the end of the Buu Saga. It was pretty much a love letter to DBZ fans.
Honestly it feels like a rehash but with a new coat of paint in some cases
I highly disagree design wise, the whole story mode was nothing but a complete missed opportunity with it's concepts. They should've made the clone teams incomplete with disproportioned limbs and inaccurate move sets to replicate the imperfect feel and made the normal clones act like "perfect" clones to justify the cutscenes that have too much attention to the dull atmosphere about them, only two of them actually act like exact copies of existing characters (Vegeta and Kid Buu) and the rest act like wood, Evil 21 was also a missed opportunity design wise since she consumed Cell you'd think she would have undergone a true metamorphizes, a design that completely clashes with 21's prior appearances, not another palette swap with just one additional super, honestly it's painful to see a story mode with such potential be squandered by terrible choices in story telling regarding the clones and 21 being thrown around like a sack of potatoes in which story mode is supposed to represent her whole character. People like you (no offense) who think that Evil 21 with "That!" design is considered good have never played a fighting game from either the 1990's or early 2000's.
There was also a future trunks clone and yet he never showed up anywhere in the story nor was it even mentioned
@@gamingsquared4206 Exactly, that is another example of how flawed the story mode of Fighterz was, say what you want about Marvel VS Capcom Infinite, but at least they did things in the story mode that actually worked in it's favor, like Ryu and Hulk fighting against a Ultron Sigma virus infected Monster Hunter boss as a cutscene is just borderline badass, while most of the cutscenes in Fighterz are just characters standing around talking, nothing like the cutscenes of story modes from Arc Systems other works.
Not to mention the story mode has you navigate in a board game like structure and its so obviously looks like it was finished in the last minute and it does nothing creative other than just fight the clones and get from point A to B and you also are limited on where you can move so if you run out of moves, you have to start from the beginning which is really annoying

Since she did mentioned the link system, I wish we have some mentions of her interaction of the human soul ( who links with others like Goku and Android 18). Plus, as hinted in the link events, she did call her partner a "Special Human soul". I wonder she has feeling for him despite being a mother of 16 and husband to the bastard Gero?

@@leawright588 You have to play the three part story arcs to understand that. From what I know, Dr. Gero is a bad husband and a researcher for the Red Ribbon Army.

Well in her base bio-Android form, she’s probably at least as strong as a Super Saiyan 2, given that she thinks she can destroy Cell
In her transformed Majin state though, Vegeta says that at full power he’d be able to take her, so at the very least she’s in the Super Saiyan Blue ballpark
