Tested both. Aside from the deeper bass of the Encore, 110 shows smoother response. Encore seems like it is trying to push off when I tried it with heavy mastered songs. It somehow distorts, while 110 plays it cleanly (maybe because of not so boosted lowerbass) but aside from that I perceived the 110 as much more pleasant and clearer.
@@legendaryblood1937 I tested both too, and for me 110 was just unlistenable boomyness without any upper clarity and lower mids, encore just sounds more balanced
@@DominikReviewsI get what your saying. Encore definitely has the slight edge of its overall SQ after a longer listening session. That deeper bass sure is a nice thing. Unfortunately it suffers a bit of distortion above 90% also the narrower soundstage.
Hey man! I've seen a few videos of yours and they're all great quality. I own the partybox encore at the moment and i love it. I used to own the 110 but i sold it while moving, buying the encore after. Between the 110 and encore purely, i'd choose 110 just cause of the fact that it can pump more bass and volume with less distortion, but to be honest, i really like the encore's sound profile a lot more. I feel for indoor use it sounds even better in the low end with deeper notes, even if not "as loud". So i really love the encore. Thing is, i'm planning on getting something bigger again. My idea is to buy a partybox 310 (which doesn't have very great mids and highs) and pair it together with my encore to play in sync. In my head this sounds like a good way to get the best of both worlds, while getting even more low end from the 310, but the good highs from the encore. Do you think the 310 + encore is a good combo? Or should i perhaps combo it with a 110 again ( encore + 110 ). I love bass and i wanna be able to get more bass, but most importantly, better bass at low volume. I rarely exceed 50% unless im outside far away. I want a combo that will leave me satisfied with *good* bass, clean, punchy and deep. My options are either the 110 or 310 together with my encore. Which one do you think would be better for home use? (35-50% volume). Also sidenote* I thought about just getting another encore, but i just want more power frankly speaking. So it's one of the bigger models. I'm excluding the new 120 and 320 due to price, they're too expensive for me for what i get for the price.
meh, the encore leans a lot towards a deeper/bass heavy sound. The 110 and 310 have better highs, only difference is that the 110 has less deep bass while the 310 has the best of both worlds. Pairing a 310 with an encore is still worth it for the stereo. I got an xtreme 2 and charge 4 rn, and even when the charge 4 can't deliver any proper bass, the fact it's in stereo makes any song sound way better. I'd recommend you get the 310 for at home usage and take the encore outside. There's no real reason to take a 310 to a small-ish party. The encore at like 80-100% volume can most likely deliver enough sound for 20-30 people, inside or outside. Had a school celebration last week and they had a single 310 set up, maybe like 30-40% volume though. The sound was good and for the like 200 people that were there, it was quite a good fit. But fairly certain that a encore or even 110 would've done the job as well. But yea, go for the 310 if you need that extra bass and put the encore in the other corner of your room to get a somewhat stereo sound going, even if it isn't dual channel
@@parkappanigga It doesn't have better highs, what are you even talking about here? Also encore is actually bass heavy but 110 is just BOOMY, pairing 310 and encore don't give stereo, xtreme 2 with charge 4 neither... I had 310 and for me it was a muddy mess, just bass no real nice sound while encore satisfy me even with long period small level listenings
@@DominikReviews well, really sounds like you don't know anything about speakers or your EQ settings are a completely fuckery. The boombox 3 has a peak at around 700hz which means that the mids are boosted and sound clearer. The encore has a peak in the bass area which makes it sound a bit muddy in comparison. The 310 is a good mix from both of them, it has decent mids and highs, while also delivering some serious bass. Sure it's not nearly as clear as the boombox but it's for sure clearer than the encore If you would've actually read my message you would've understood that stereo doesn't just mean dual channel. Stereo simply means that there's sound coming from 2 directions. What you're talking about is dual channel stereo, which in jbl's world only works with 2 of the same speakers. However, if you pair a charge 4 and an xtreme 2, level their audio and place them in opposite corners of the room you'll have somewhat decent stereo. Please get your facts right before talking smack
@@parkappanigga haha clearer? maybe more boosted in treble but it lacks in upper treble area, 310 sounds just pretty dull, and actually for me 310 was really muddy compared to encore, same with 110, bass can relate on how clear you will hear it, but it cant make speaker sounds muddy if it also got a boost in highs
@@jenkins775 Don't forget that the encore is also half the weight of the 110 making it way easier to take outside. The real comparison would be 310 vs encore but at that point you're already gravitating more towards one of the 2. The 310 is way better for big parties and the encore is the better option for 99% of people. It's smaller, has almost the same max volume, it's cheaper and it won't blow your ears out when using it inside

Я не слушал 110, но encore essential мне показался достаточно тихим на улице ( из личного опыта)
I have the impression that the encore has the even powerful that the 110. Good video ❤
Thanks, encore is more powerful in deep bass region 30-50hz while 110 is overall boosted in mid and some of the deep bass region 50-100
