Your models skills are complete. Most impressive 👏 Nah...great job! I have the kit as well but in a different box but guess the exact same in parts and will be building it soon. I will follow your lead on the video and hope it will look as good or close to your build. 👍👌👏😄
Nice. I built one of those in the eighties, and I recently purchased another one along with his other models from back then. Nice build, enjoyed watching it.
@@MDScaleModels I struggle whether I should paint parts that would be invisible once the model is finished, but feels like cheating so I do them anyway. It's sad they provide such a detailed pilot in such a small windowed plane. Again great effort, I learned a lot.
It’s putty. Sticks easily and easy to remove. Doesn’t leave a residue unless you leave it for several months. Easy to adjust if you need to push more to cover something else.
I use Tamiya Extra Thin Cement and Revell Contacta Professional which I refill with regular glue. I really like the tiny nozzle so it doesn't put too much glue on it...
Nice job but need more work . I’m skilled artist as experienced as model builder too . I had Revell 1/32 scale X-1 rocket plane model kit but I haven’t built it yet because my ex wife has allergies of metal , rust , chemical fumes , paints , cannot wear any jewelry but she forced me had gave up unbuilt model kits and hobby tools , paints , etc. till I decided file divorce in 2011 but long story . I’m happy second marriage with wonderful wife , told me start new life again and buy new model kits and hobby tools and more plus artist supplies too same as my late mother told me start over again as new life . I’ll be retirement very soon then start building model kits and artist work give me relaxation time plus go to fishing . I’ll look for Revell 1/32 scale X-1 rocket plane model kit at hobby store plus NASA model kits , more . Keep good work on model kit but don’t hurry up , take your time . 👍
It's not a bad kit at all ,and with care you get a good model out of it from the box. Like most kits, you can improve it and add detail as much as you want.
“It’s not a game, it’s a scale model of the Bell-X1 plane, the plane that broke the sound barrier”

This is an outstanding masterclass on cockpit detailing, only you forgot to include the broom handle that Chuck had to use to close the hatch with 😮
Thank you. Glad you liked it. Yes. The broom!!! I probably should have left the figure out so you can see the cockpit.
You realy lifted a shabby produced kit, adding those details...superb job.

Who's here because of the Arthur episode? Arthur's Big Hit
I got recommended this while watching other modeling videos and IMMEDIATLY went to the comments :3
Great modifications, great build.
Thanks! Sad you can't see much more of the cockpit. Probably should have left the pilot out...

What is the material that you are putting in the cockpit and wheel wells while painting?

Thanks!
Super !! 👍👍👍👍
Better not let DW get her hands on it
DW?

What’s the name of the glue applicator your using?

That looks like a rather poor kit. Looks like something from the 70’s.

I hate Arthur!
