I recently built this same kit. A nightmare. Never have seen so much flash on a kit. Almost nothing went together well. A wrestling match start to finish! Yours looks much better.
Can't believe that such a crappy kit can be turned into such a nice model. 👍👏👏Watching your built has encouraged me to have a another go at this kit. The 4 supports for the roof of the car are all twisted and I have to make new ones.
@@MDScaleModels I love that you make rewievs from a standard box issue of a model. It's no point to watch Flory models with a show quality issue of a model. Than you go and buy it yourself...and it's a crap. With loads of flash and ejector pins on the worst places. Yeah, Airfix is like Revell. Can be grate. Old ones for sure...90's till 2000. And can be crap.
@@urossamec5817 Gotta agree whith you! And yes, MD saved the little thing... MD, the Molotow paint sprays beautifully if you open the pen, or better, acquire a refill bottle... Good thinner is Dupont DX7000, dry 2 weeks before CCoat...
Nice build, bought one for a friends 60th birthday present in July, and still in progress. Is that 1 or 2mm White Styrene Sheet for the additional parts on the chassis? As you say not much out there in this model.
Wow, you added so much to it. Great job. Airfix have just announced a new tool 1/43 version of the DB5 - sure to be a much better kit.

Thanks. It is a nightmare kit... Hoping to get the newer 1:24 scale version.

It is a terrible model but there are so few options for the DB5… I had to give it a try!
Nice work, MD. It is proof positive that a t¥£d and be polished. (Quite literally,)
This was a crap model, but you made it look lovely. Nice job.
Thanks. It is a terrible model!
Very few options for a DB5 though, sadly.

Thanks... 1mm as it's more flexible around the wheel well.
Almost got this model until I saw the comments, got the triumph herald and beach buggy instead
It is not a great model at all. Requires a lot of work!
I’m glad I didn’t buy them, excited for the triumph herald and beach buggy
I might get it later on when I’m better at making kits for a challenge
