I'm loving my Rail. Coming off of a V1 RIpmo which climbs better but the Rail shreds the V1 in every other regard - jumping, turning, descending. Question. Does anyone know which trail he's riding? I'd love to replicate that ride next time I'm in Socal. :)
I have a Rail and a V1 Ripmo but ridden my buddy's V2. He has the DVO suspension which I hate so it's hard to compare. With that said, I prefer the Rail in all regards but Ripmos are lighter.
I'd go crazy with this much creaking from the BB. Honestly, this vid felt more an ad than a review. Very nice clips though. Great location and great riding. Just not very much actual information. For a video like this to be relevant to your viewers you need to compare it to the competition and make some kind of meaningful critique on a scale of your choice. Otherwise I'm afraid it's just marketing. I KNOW how much work goes in to making these videos, so please make it worth the work. I hope you take this as constructive criticism, I don't mean to put you down.
ive been riding a nukeproof mega 290 factory. The only issue i've had is that the dropper post is a little harder to service than my previous oneup v2, but I cant fault anything in terms of parts and ride quality
I have heard that is a pretty common issue with revel bikes. I have got a revel rascal, and it has been creak free for me. Love the thing. It a creak does show up, it is typically not top hard to remedy.
There was a certain early run of frames that had an issue with pivot #4 (the lowest one by the chain ring). The issue has supposedly been fixed now. There is a thread on Mtbr with more info.
I really appreciate that your RUclips content is so short and to the point!
The new school Intense Carbine 29. Love this bike
I’ll say what’s up if I see you up on rocky on my rail 29!

How does it compare to the Ibis Ripmo V2s?

@@joncarlson6209 Why did you hate the DVO? I find it hard to believe that someone could hate something when it wasn't tuned for how they ride.
Good stuff love Simi

Do you think that Revel will be switching to Super Boost 157mm spacing?

🎉
Mine is totally quiet after I fixed a slight creaking from the seatpost. YMMV
No, wrong.
