Thoughts on the increase of breeding cost from 1 axs to 4 axs? last 28 june 2021, the cost to breed 4 axie eggs (with different bc) is around 1500 slp and 4 axs = around 220 usd. With the current rates (1500 slp and 16 axs), 4 axie eggs = around 780 usd. Around 560 usd increase (not including binance exchange rates, gas, etc.)

I'm very new to all of the breeding, but I think with Ronin2 wallet update, there are no more fees. You get 100 FREE transaction/day. This includes breeding, gifting and maybe some other things. Before Ronin2 migration, i think there was a gas fee for everything AND there were more stages of breeding. For example: Egg>Larve>Petite>Adult (each 5 days) Maybe someone in the comments can verify this for me?

Yes, i haven't done it, but im pretty sure you can. You will just pay 2 different SLP prices for the breeding. It's definitely better to breed the lower breeding count axies because you will save a lot on SLP. Love the grinnndd 👊🏽♥

But lately in twitterverse, most managers are supporting minimum 60 to scholar. i don't know too many details since I haven't started one yet, but these are common splits. IF breeding, you might spend $400-700 x6, because you need 6 parents to breed 1 team. If not breeding, you can buy your scholar a decent team for about $600, per person.
