- Palestinians have seen over a hundred releases from Israeli prisons during Israel and Hamas’s temporary ceasefire deal. But thousands more remain in detention, and Israel continues to arrest more people. So, why were they detained in the first place?

Bible says in Genesis Ch.1, Verses 3 and 5,…‘Light was created on the first day.’ Genesis, Ch.1, Verses, 14 to 19… ‘The cause of light - stars and the sun, etc. was created on the fourth day’. How can the cause of light be created on the 4th day - later than the light which came into existence on the first day? Bible also says in Genesis, Ch.1, Verses 9 to 13… ‘Earth was created on the 3rd day. How can you have a night and day without the earth ? The day depends upon the rotation of the Earth Without the earth created, how can you have a day?
Considering the percentage of hostages swapped there is big imbalance.
Hamas has returned more back to their homes in one day than Israel is releasing overall and this does not even count the additional ones they’ve kidnapped since Oct 7 and are still kidnapping from different parts of Palestine without any charges.
If you research further you would find out that, while Israel released about 160 civilians, most being women and children, but in the same time have re-arrested and detained over 2400 other Palestinians. (many of these for the "crime" of posting for and supporting the liberation of Palestinians on line.) Also the released Israeli's had homes and neighborhoods to return to after the trauma they endured, and the support and medical care of their government. In contrast, the Palestinian hostages (prisoners) released were sent onto the Red Cross buses without receiving medical care, some without clothing - set loose in their underwear and without coats or pants, and ordered not to celebrate or rejoice in any way when reuniting w/ their familites. Also most do not any longer have homes to return to - because Israel has reduced their neighborhoods to rubble, rendering them unlivable. Look at more sources to come to conclusions - know that Hamas killed 1200 civilians - (a brutal act, no dispute of that) and now Israel has killed 15,000 Palestinian civilians - ten times the deaths in retribution and revenge. There is no justification for either aggression - that is obvious.
The imbalance is only that of trading convicted criminals " children " of 17-19 yearl old for innocent children or their bodies from age 10 months upward .

Some of them are being held without charges of which a fraction have been released while others were charged with ludicrous things like posting a Palestinian flag on social media or being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
