The legal limit in Ireland is 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. That's about one drink. So most drivers don't have even one.

It's the same in Scotland, but 80 milligrams in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. So you'd better be extra careful if drinking in England near the Scottish border!

Drunk drivers still exist but tolerance by law is 0% you just can't have anything in you , some people even buy breathalizer to ensure they breathe 0 before they drive.
Punishments are very hard for stuff like this - losing license for few years and very high tickets ( some countries even take your car) no joke.

As regards US freedom. The USA has the biggest prison population in the world both in total numbers and a a proportion of the population. The USA has around 2.1 nillion in prison, China 1.7 million. But China has four times the population.

@@jeffwilliams2828 The only thing is that China does not have any Uyghurs in prison and forced labor. That, and the rest of those myths about China are part of a USA war propaganda, because the US has long wanted to wage a war against China.

In Portugal, if the alcohol content is equal to or greater than 0.8 g/l and less than 1.2 g/l, you will be sanctioned with a fine of €500 to €2500 and the additional sanction of disqualification. driving from 2 to 24 months. - If the rate is equal to or greater than 1.2g/l, you will be arrested and punished with a prison sentence of up to one year or a fine of up to 120 days. In all European countries it is the same or worse, in some cases

I'm in England UK, In 2022 i got poorly, I don't get poorly normally so i tried to rest but after a few wks in bed trying to 'sleep it off' & failing to get better I phoned an ambulance, they came & took me to hospital, I had Pneumonia, Sepsis & a collapsed lung due to a hole in it caused by the fluid in my lung, I was in hospital for 5wks, 7 x-rays, 2 CT scans, I had an operation VATS (Video-assisted thoracic surgery) to clean out my chest/lung/ pleural cavity, for 3wks I had a drain going to vacuum pump & I was drip fed antibiotics for 2-3 wks while there, A month after leaving the hospital i went back to have drain tubes removed from my chest that went to a bag I had to carry around with me, 2months later I had to go back for a check-up which included an x-ray to make sure everything was ok, 4months after that another final check-up + x-ray ........ It cost me nothing because it was all covered by the NHS.

The story about the lady who had breast cancer and HAD to work 72 hours every week, really upset me 😢. Im from the UK and find it to be unbelievable and cruel to treat people like this.
Do you know if you're diabetic or have thyroid problems, you don't have to pay for your prescriptions - I know it's only £9, but still, it's good to have. When UK citizens reach 60 years old, they too are exempt from prescription charges - basically making all medical care 100% free. Of course, children are automatically exempt, ie : no prescription charges until they reach 18 (if not in full-time education). If they're still in full-time education after reaching 18, they can apply for an exemption card, which allows for free prescriptions, dental care, and eye care.
I used to dream about living in the USA, but not anymore. Now, I don't even want to visit the place - sorry.

So many of us who don’t have to live in the US feel very sad for you guys.
I accidentally lived in Florida for a year once, but had to go home to Australia because neither my husband nor I could get health insurance for my pregnancy. I had got my green card two days after we found out I was pregnant so it was A PRE-EXISTING CONDITION! Although the husband ended up leaving me a few weeks before my daughter was born anyway, which was fine because he was horrible, having the top class medical treatment that we needed was only the beginning of the reasons I am so grateful I came home to Australia.
Obamacare nearly started you guys on a path to some sort of medical safety net. Oh sorry, but I feel so bad for you. 💧

In ireland The current drink-driving limit is a BAC of 50mg. This means 50 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. For professional, learner and novice drivers the limit is a BAC of 20mg. Most people will have a BAC of 20 to 50mg after 1 standard drink. So yeah practically 0 😂

As a UK citizen, health care is not free. We pay for our health care via a tax called National insurance which is deducted from our wages every month. Only some services like Accident and Emergency are provided for free for non UK residents but usually they would have to pay for treatment.

Education is crazy. In Europe education is an investment that the government do on his citizens: if more citizens have a degree the country economy will be more powerfull due to the educated citizens: more doctors, more lawyers, more engeneers, more architecs... An educated country is a stable, happy and satisfied country that produce more... For these reason in Europe all education is free or very low costs (like less than 1/10 of the basic American college), because the government pay for it (full or partially)
It's not considered "a cost", but and "investment"

Do you stay in the USA and hope for improvements
or do you move to another country that has those improvements?
Also, as a USA citizen, if you do move abroad, the USA government will still tax you.
Not an easy situation to be in.

I think you're right about trauma linking to some black people needing to know exits in unfamiliar places! I think it's survival mode as we are most likely defending ourselves if anything did happen. We need a quick exit because we're not sure who to trust. I do the same and I'm from the UK. We've all experienced racism in some way in our lifetime even though we're told racism doesn't really exist lol. I didnt say this to take anything away from Americans and the gun trauma. Just an observation from something said in the video. 🖤🖤🖤✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
