“What up, Big Perm! I mean, Big Worm!”
Legendary comment !🎉
Billy your lake fork guide. Give credit where credit due man lol
Terrible plastic worm fisherman here...just no good at it!!
Thanks Ben!! I'm gonna try it again before i drop the Rod and pickup the Bow
I've only recently started to throw "oversize" worms. The anticipation of the hook set during the time you must wait to let the fish eat the worm is worth it! Big baits call out the big gurls!
Picked up a pack of the Kincoo Air 13 a couple weeks ago. Such a cool worm, loving it so far. Been rigging it on a shaky head and it looks amazing in the water, especially with it’s buoyancy
Been throwing the manns jelly worm forever. Big worm lifestyle
I like the Mann’s original 8”jelly worm, and the zoom magnum trick worm.
Another great lesson in catching the one that got away. Cheers Hook Up from Australia.
Cruddy day. Hangin with yall makes it better. Thanks guys for the laughs 👍
11:22 i have been watching your you tube videos for a while. I have watched dozens of videos of various hosts for several years now. I have primarily watched only one consitently for the past year and a half ( not you). That said, i am of the opinion you and your co hosts have set the highest teaching and presentation standard there is available today. Your channel is now my primary go to for current and newest japanese baits available. The videos you produce ara great. What is especially worthy is your interviews with various fishermen/ innovators of the bass fishing community. I am grateful for the content you produce. I look forward to your videos. I agree with others, your intro video is the best.
I've been meaning to say this and always forget. Your new opening to your videos is "Awesome". Give your techs who put this together a raise!
Cool worms. I bought some Kincoo's from the shop and haven't tried them yet. Key word is yet.
You should see the Jackall M16, a 16´ inch finesse worm, its a great fish catcher. Congratulations in the video.
The education here is gold. This is why I’ll always choose The Hook Up Tackle (THUT). When I shop with THUT, my headspace is that I’m subscribed to a lifelong school of discipline that contributes to growth in many other areas of my life. Diversity is key. Thank you for this.
I have been Neko rigging the raid adustraight and have been hammering them. The tail stands straight up and with light twitches of the rod it has amazing movement.
Made it to the store for my # BIG WORM 🐛today 👍. AWESOME selection of goodies . Also wanted to say it was nice to meet ya Jeff. & Thanks guys for all the help with all the what nots 👊. just rewatched this cuz I forgot what size/type shaky head to use 🤦♂️ ( Dan From California )
I’ve always kept long worms in my arsenal. From stretching my own to buying them. I started doing it as a teenager. I would buy big nightcrawlers and thread them on a hook. I slowly drag them around, the old stitching technique. Light bulb went on and I started stretching my plastics and threw it with a 1/32 or 1/64 bullet weight and did the same thing. Or fly line it. Like the crawler
Big worms are great in the summer.
Unrelated to your long worms, I have been smoking bass like crazy for the past month on gear I ordered from you nice fella's...Not only that, I caught a huge(to me) pike this morning before work. I was using an Uglystick Dockrunner with a size 5 abu garcia spinning reel, 8 pound pink spro braid and 10lb sunline sniper and a duo realis small rubber jig in pickle color. It was as long as the dockrunner rod, I had to hoist it out of the water by the line. It was awesome guys, keep selling me crazy lures. I also lost a huge bass but I was drop shot'ing a size 4 hook trying get panfish, and it shook free before I could grab it it out of the water. Big fish wanted all the small baits today. It was fun, I tagged you guys on instagram of the photo of the pike, I tried to hold it but it was too strong for me so just took a picture of it in the grass instead, and put in back in. Anyway, awesome lures guys!
Glad you included the Neko. I love Neko rigging big worms. I have better luck not getting snagged and I'm in the south where everyone is using the Shakeyhead, so it's different but similar enough to fish the same scenarios.
I was using the 12 inch Manns Jellyworm, then you started showing all the big Japanese stuff. I just wish the worms like the OSP's were tougher. Even with a sleeve, they still tear quickly, but they flat catch fish.
One thing Im curious about is why dont you recommend the floater with a heavier nail weight so it stands up like something feeding on the bottom? Sorry I wrote a book.
I think its more because big worms are kinda specialized to most guys over here and not many guys are really using them like normal worms. You'll usually see guys saying they have big worms or like them but barely use them. So when u don't have many people using these type of baits it's gonna be even harder to sell jdm versions of that bait as well. Cause its an even more narrow market over here.
Strike King 10" Bullworm is a beast.
I like big baits and I cannot lie 🙂
Good Juice today Fellas 👊. Just arrived at Moms in Morristown last night …mentioned in a few videos back I’d make it to the store when I got back to AZ … I’d like to take back to the California Delta some of theses ( Fridays Movie phrase ). # BIG WORM - set ups 👍. I barely twitch my DropShot worms 🪱 so I can see myself working the # BIG WORM 🪱 like you say it should ( because I remember the video about giving worms seizures 🤪😂😂😂) ( side note) -- Any recommendation baits for bank fishing Lake Pleasant ?? This next week 🤔
Roman made Prologue or the 12” Mann’s jelly worm are a couple of others
🤨So… Jeff likes his worms extra big, and Ben likes his tubes a bit loose. Might be over-sharing a bit, guys. Remember, the internet is forever. 😏
#truth 😂🍻
@@thehookuptackle_usa all jokes aside, I recently started watching you guys’ channel. Freakin love your content, and am jealous as a middle school girlfriend of your wall o’ megabass. …I could probably write a novel here, but I’ll try to boil it down. I love good people and appreciate good beer- I mean gear. I’ve been fishing jdm for a while now, and have pretty much whittled my kit down to a daiwa ignis type-r high speed 2003 on a bbb 636 (6’3”) and an ignis type-r 2506 on a bbb 6106 (6’10”). I live in southern Colorado and mostly go canyon hunting. I was wondering if any of you guys have fished the bbb rods, and, if so, what your thoughts on them are. What I’m really trying to say is: why don’t I need a megabass p5 or evoluzion and an exist? …you know what? That’s a $1500 itch that needs scratching… I’m not sure I like your channel, at all.
@@thehookuptackle_usa oh yea, 🍻
Thanks for this one! I’ve tried to whacky rig the big deps but haven’t had success!
Never tried the Nekko, I’ll give it a shot today!
These work extremely well in Florida.....
👍🍻
When u guys getting Geecrack?
Why wouldn’t the OSP MMZ Deca be apart of this conversation?
Hey, yalls videos always look and sound great, but i've noticed several recently (since icast) has kinda blown out/clipped whites. Should tone down the aperature, shutter angle or iso a little. Harsh whites make it hard to see details of baits/products. Not too bad, but definitely brighter than usual. I do pro video and sound. Cheers.
Ya know, looking at again, it might be my ps5 youtube app doing something weird. Video looks fine on my samsung phone.
