    @Detour Shirts 3 things that make your site the best: 1. You're actually an artist and this shows in your designs. 2.your transparency ppl are getting tired of 'get rich scheme' videos that make POD seem so easy
    3. You explain extremely clearly, you actually teach technical and art skills. 👌👌👌👌

      Look up 'Informal Balance' or 'Formal Imbalance'. Plus 'Uniting' a 'Variety' of Elements. Negative space plays a part as well.

    Great video. Is there a place that lists the exact colors of Redbubble shirts? Thanks for all your tips.

    Juna, I wish I could your videos are always so helpful! You've been in this business for quite some time. So, maybe you know the answer: I came across a redbubble shop, opened Jan. this year (not even a month) with 12.000 likes! 250 designs only with geo. patterns, all in the same style, nothing special. Is it realistic, to have such results? Maybe there are ways I dont know.

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 года назад

      Sure.. If you know how to drive traffic to it...Yes... 250 designs wouldn't take that long... you get a max of 60 designs a day... It would only take you about 5 days to upload that many.... completely possible.

    • @tinam.9810
      @tinam.9810 3 года назад

      @@DetourShirts Thanks for the reply. One can upload even more designs in this period. What surprised me A LOT was the number of likes. More than 12.000 likes in max. 25 days for a very medium quality and the same style designs... Even if they got the traffice, I cant believe so many people could like those designs. And almost no followers... Anyway, thanks

      @@tinam.9810 I have 1300 likes but only 8 products sold and my likes are from fellow redbubble artist ...I don't know how likes can make a difference..you should see how many people he is following

    Very cool. Can I ask how you add the multiple art boards in Affinity Designer so it’s all one one page and you scroll to the right? I can’t figure out how to do this.

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 года назад +1

      Easy. Use the artboard tool..and click insert artboard... you can create as many as you need.

    Hi, I want to ask I'm an artist I have a few artworks I want to put on some shirts but the problem I'm in tier 10 on MBA the only way to get out of tier 10 is chasing trends or I go to upload my artworks to shirts because I see your store you have a lot of Japanese styles art ramen kawaii, etc... I want to do some art like this but is saturated my question is I put my artworks in shirts and wait until get some sales or just do like others do chasing trends ?? and thank you

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 года назад +1

      It's not the only way to get out of tier 10... You could buy your own shirts, you could make shirts for family and friends, you could do evergreen designs and wait. You can design what you want but just realize that just because you like it, it doesn't mean other people will want to buy it. BTW, I don't think the Japanese art is saturated... you just need to have something else that audience will want to buy.

    Thanks Juna! When I do text for a shirt, I usually end up with white text having a black outline so that the text will show on all colors of shirts. Is there another way around this problem?

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 года назад +2

      Great question... I like to make 2 versions... I use dark text for light color shirts and light text on dark color shirts

      @@DetourShirts Do you make a reference in the description to the other version where they can have a dark/light shirt color? Or do they just figure that out for themselves?
