THANK YOU STORM for making a reactive ball that fits a pinch above urethane! I think we will see this rock on tour constantly, especially for the higher rev players. Will definitely fit right below my Physix Blackout. definitely buying 2 of these
I think this is exactly what I've been looking for. I've been looking to try to find a good ball to fit between my Pitch Black and Hustle RIP/Hyped Pearl. When i don't want a snappy backend, but also need to avoid the early hook. This seems like it will fit perfectly.
I was a little confused on how you were playing the short pattern. Normally on something like this I expect players to get way right and play direct up the 3/4 board with a low grit early urethane ball and a up the back delivery. They get that ball to hook early and set and then roll with perfect control to the pocket. Opening angles up with a urethane ball on a short pattern is not recommended and kind of was an unfair test of the IQ78 and Pitch Black. The "Level" is obviously another attempt by Storm to create a "urethane like" ball and we know how all their past experiments with that idea have turned out. So if the "Level" is too reactive to play in a urethane zone and too weak to play in traditional resin zones, what is its purpose?
I will be really upset if it's worse with surface than the mcp from motiv. Had to hit it with 500 every 3 games cuz it was only good for maybe a game and a half before it went 60ft
SPI needs to focus on balls like the Phaze 2 and stop trying to compete with the Purple One. As far as the Level, looks like it hooks just a little more at the end than Pitch Black that will eliminate some flat 10s. However, seems overpriced if that is all it does.
I agree. Storm Is missing that Newer version of balls like a Phaze 2. I'm sure there's something in the pipeline coming in the future this year would be my guess..
Seems to be a direct competitor to the NU balls by Brunswick. Not really sure this is needed for league bowlers. It's more a niche tournament arsenal piece...and an expensive one at that.
Comment if you think this will be better than the 🟣

I love the ball reaction it’s so smooth off the spot 😮
Definitely going to be my next ball! ✅
Seeing Pro Motion shape. Used my Pro Motion in the spot this ball is designed for. Wish the Pro had fast oil absorption like this!
Seems like a niche ball. Will be interesting to see where Storm goes with this new Lab line.
I know I'm looking to get one. Feel that it'll be a good controllable ball.
@@Brent-Tanabe it is very controllable. Might be good for the dry lanes in Hawaii too
@TajirisBallReviews thanks. Yeah that's why I want one for the conditions here. 👍
Ball looks great! Seems like Mark helped you. Got to ask what's the name of the song you open the video
with?

Sounds like this it the perfect fit for you
What’s the name of this song?????
So we should call it microcell polymer or a nu hammer storm equivalent?
Looks like Storms attempt at a Motiv Tank. At the end of the day. I'd still rather have a Purple or a Black Hammer.
any surface change on the 78u? that thing PICKED UP lol
78U I threw it at 1000 grit same finish as I had on the Level
What are those shoes!?

Stay away from motive then lol 😮
