My IQ78 shined up so much it was unusable. I put 220 grit on it and it looks amazing on a couple different house shots. Threw it on 45 ft sport with 29 mils and it hooked at 40 ft! Keep the purple lane shined so I get better back end reaction. Still working on my transition when the heads get burnt and I get pushed left. Nu Blue didn't look great for me.
This is great info, but you can throw it all out if you're left-handed. For Lefties, the Level is AMAZING. Lane play is completely different on the left side, and the Level provides ball motion and consistency that we really need. I'm definitely going to buy at least one more Level (with a different drilling and surface prep) and I really hope Storm makes another one with a bigger core.
When I need to get out of urethane, I grab the Level. It has been unbelievable for me on house patterns and my friends don't give me grief for using urethane :D Seriously though, when I need to get into reactives, it's always a shorter pin symmetric solid, pin down like a Focus or Idol, and typically move 4-6 boards left.
From urethane to reactive hmm throw a little faster more up the back with a asymmetric ball a shiny solid or a sanded pearl like fhe taboo jet black and the taboo blue and silver with same layout. But for me to combat the nu or the urethane balls i use sanded plastic.
Would've been interesting to see this compared to a Tropical Surge, as they're close in core stats. In all the media I'd read, I'd not picked up or seen anything that suggested it compares to a urethane, but other than the Tropical Surge, they've not had a "low flare" product for some time (that wasn't trying to be urethane). This is what they tried with the Ride 10 years ago. I'm hoping it'll be a nice replacement for my aging joyride (yeah I know that's a pearl, but I often throw it with surface)
Been a storm guy for a long time but never quite matched up with the pitch black, loved the UC3 sad that ball is gone, the Level looks nice, would be interesting to see you compare it to a big Asym solid with a weak layout cause that’s what I’ve done to replace the urethane look but this Level looks really good
Hey guys. I have a question. If I have a Pitch Black for short patterns and the fresh and a Motiv Black Venom for transition, would the Level have a place in my bag?
Brilliantly said brilliantly done, I am real dominant 71 years old. Can I use the level? What do you think? Please respond. Appreciate it. You guys always have great productions. Take care of yourself be safe

COMMENT: What is your adjustment from urethane to reactive?

I tend to go to a shiny asym and move about 10 boards left.
Pitch Black into Phaze2
Phaze 2/summit ascent/ion pro. Have to move a bit more than an arrow left.
no convince with that new cover on the level how long it will be good ? some pro have drill already 3 this week end in delawere ?
THIS VIDEO IS SICK. The lane side editing while shots are being thrown is unlike anything else here on RUclips. Excellent format.
I want to see a two hander compare the Purple Hammer (GOAT) vs the Level
Next level videography
Purple Hammer hands down a beast.
Whoa… when you started bowling beside yourself, 🤯🤯

Great video as always! it would be awesome to see what balls the crew uses in their ball bag and why. I look forward to the next video!
Edits are fire 🫡
Urethane to reactive switch it does depend on the pattern but typically I’ll take an asym solid and throw it harder until forced to move left.
How does the Level compare to the hammer NU
This or the rattler NU
Love the video but I think a better comparison would had been the nu balls and the level since they are similar technologies.

I’m excited about this ball, even if it will only be for sport shot scenarios. Have anyone of you guys in proshop used this in league at all?
Great video! Can we see a video of the tropical surge solid vs the level? Since they are both lower end cores and covers.
Much different balls and price points tho. Tournament bowlers don’t use tropicals

Yes! Should fit right between the two
I actually got a UC3 a few months ago. That ball is a monster!! Do you think those would work well together? The Level and UC3?

Nice video good graphics. Didnt know you have an identical twin.
Purple Hammer!
Level vs. Rattler NU vs. ZenU
Really? I play my Purple Hammer 25 or 30 board or 10 board. It likes the slow scenic route, or the fast AF BOY! Never had issues with follow through.
Have you tried the Equinox?
Purple still unmatched!
Why didn’t you play up the rail to start? And you do have the best release on Utube!
Ball wouldn’t hook haha and thanks!!
i knew you had a twin

There is no good reason to ever buy Level over the Purple unless you simply can't throw a purple hammer.
Could buy both. Slightly different
Ill take the ball that doesnt absorb oil lol
The opposite !!
