Some people are asking, when a comment becomes too political and what I can say is stick to commenting about the song/artist and if you are thinking something might be political, it probably is. I'm not giving any warnings, i'm just deleting all the comments i find too political.

My statement:
After careful consideration, I have decided to post my reaction to Israel’s song for Eurovision 2024. This has not been an easy decision, and I have been debating back and fourth whether to post this or not. I know many of my fellow Eurovision reactors (not all) have decided not to.
I want to explain my reason behind posting this reaction video. I believe that Eurovision should be a non-political competition. A celebration of music. A few hours each year where we can escape the world which is getting more and more horrible and crazy.
The EBU has allowed Israel to participate as they do not break any of the rules set for participation in this non-political competition. When the EBU have made this decision, I trust that they have looked through this very carefully. Israel have attempted to send songs which have been declared too political by the EBU. All political songs should of course not be able to participate, so I believe the EBU made the right decision asking them to change parts of the lyrics. The truth is that regardless of what song Israel would bring, many people would probably find something they would see as politcal due to the current situation. Israel’s representative, Eden Golan, will likely have a tough time in Malmö with a lot of people being against her particiapation. She is, in my opinion, not the one to blame for the current situation.
I want to make it very clear, that my reaction to Israel’s song does not reflect my political view on the situation. The situation in Gaza is horrible and too many civilians in both places have been killed or injured. I feel for everyone who have been affected by the current situation. My opinion is that a permanent ceasefire should be found. I know that the current situation is one with strong emotions and different views. I have decided to allow comments on this video for right now, but I ask you to not post any political comments as they will be removed and I may have to turn of comments on the video entirely.

Thanks for that. I know not everyone is aware of exactly what's going on in the middle east as they don't live here and there's a lot of fake news to cope with and we find it unbelievable but at the same time we are used to it. Thank you Esc for a very balanced comments. I am Israeli and been watching the Eurovistion for 40 years everything about it is political. Top 5 get autonatic entrance cuz of their donations is this ok? no, its political but we are ok with it. The Ukraine siniging political its ok we all understand. Countries vote for their neighbours and not allways for the best songs its political. This is the beauty of democracy however to say that we want to keep it non political its a bit naive. I do however understand you wanting to keep it fair and about music cuz a war is still going on. Its also very important to view any opinion after deep learning or being in the place it self before voicing any opinions. Thank you again.

I just wanted to give my opinion - this year this song has a great meaning for Israel and I think it was important to sing in English which is the most common language in order to get people to listen to the lyrics and not just enjoy the music. This is how we communicate our message in the best way.
