I got s21 ULTRA and it was great; S22 ULTRA is much worse than S21 ULTRA but this one is FANTASTIC aesthetically, if it also performs well and has a good battery then it will be mine.
The rear screen, possibly speakers and processor are the most believable parts of the video. A sizable percentage of Samsung users don't want the curved display. I also think they will stick with 120hz due to battery usage, It's tough to see higher. I've been a gamer a long time staring at screens and the difference between 120hz and 160hz is barely noticeable to the trained eye, let alone your average person. There hasn't been any mass production of solid state batteries. You just can't get more than around 5000mah battery in that space. I could see a 2500 peak nit brightness but it will likely be like the iPhone and only use it short periods of time then slowly lower the brightness. It gives you short periods of peak brightness but then drops some. That is how Apple is using their displays right now. 20gb of ram is way up there.. I'll guess 12 or 16gb at max. Nothing we do that requires more except maybe video editing/exporting on your phone. The only way I see 20gb of ram going into the phone is if they decide to make it a mini console/computer you can plug into your TV. They do have DEX which turns your Samsung phone into a mini computer for large displays. Apple is kind of doing just the gaming part with the iPhone 14. 10k video recording seems unlikely because of file sizes. I think we'll see 8k60 and maybe 4k120 but that's the highest. Even those will be huge file sizes. A 200mp picture would be roughly a 200mb file. I don't see that being a thing.. a distant maybe. The only cures I could see to the file sizes is a cloud service UI update that makes it very easy to use and free or very cheap to use. Right now on Samsung it's barely used, not super easy to use and not promoted much. Apple promotes their cloud service and makes things extremely easy.
I realy do not buy curved display, cuz very sensible and breakable....so expensive to fix when broken :D that is why I left S7 Edge the real Samsung admiral Ship I ever seen :D

I completely disagree. Those are all rumors. Nobody has ever proven that to be true. My entire family has Samsung flagship phones and we don't have that problem with security.

@@Cristi2024 Having Samsung DEX turning your Phone into a computer really makes me think that 20gb is possible, maybe more if they promote DEX more and really want to turn your phone into mini computers. They have more "horsepower" than a lot of laptops out there. They'll have at least a 16gb model, maybe a 12gb on the S24Ultra. My S23Ultra has 16gb. They do have a 12GB model though. The only thing phones are really lacking in the horsepower department is a solid GPU. You can't squeeze an NVidia 4080 in there. That's why Apple is starting to promote their cloud gaming over wifi. Samsung might do something similar and that would require at least 16gb of ram. Onto the battery, the faster you charge a battery the hotter it will get AND the lifespan will be reduced. I have my 23U set to charge to 85% and it lasts 1.5 days with medium to heavy usage, 2 days if I use it lightly. That's not even going to 100%. It charges from 15% to 85% in just over an hour on a 25watt charger. I don't own a 45watt charger. They charge plenty fast. Faster is more convenient but reduces battery life. There are phones that charge faster than both the S23U and iPhone but they get HOT and will have a reduced battery life. The battery will last max 5 years and have a severely reduced maximum capacity by then. Unless there is a big break-through in battery technology and production costs become realistic we aren't getting more than around a 5000mah battery. Like the gpu, you just cannot fit more in there. Solid state batteries are in their infancy and cost stupid amounts of money to make. We wont see those for a long time, they need a break-through in the ability to produce them. Some of the things claimed are possible, more are distant maybes and some just aren't going to happen but there's the battery and performance review that is from someone that's grown up with computers since they had 33mhz and 1mb or less of ram. I remember the first 1gb hard drive I bought and it seemed like it would fit everything and then some. I laugh at that thought now. Go ahead and buy a different budget phone. They will have some of the features the S24Ultra will have. They wont have all of the features though. They wont have the latest Gen3 snapdragon or anything comparable to the latest processor the iPhone has. There is one Gen3 snapdragon phone I've seen available right now in China I believe, it's coming to the US soon. It's at flagship prices though, slightly less because they put less money into the cameras. Give and take. The S24Ultra will have 90% of the new features possible on a phone. They also need to keep in mind a lifespan of a phone. A phone that charges at 100+watts will have a battery that doesn't last as long. People will complain; they need to balance charging speed and battery life unless... there's a break-through in battery tech and production I'm un aware of. Tesla is at the front of battery research and development and wants solid state batteries and are trying to find a way to mass produce them but they haven't. The world would have heard if a battery break-through had occurred and it hasn't. Wow I went on for awhile there.. meh. I was listening to the news as well so it wasn't wasted time.
It would be so much better if they also upgrade the periscope zoom (telephoto) sensor to the sony xperia 1v ones, the telephoto on the sony are way more superior and so was the bokeh on the sony xperia

The S23 Ultra caps out at 45w, you can use a 65w charger but that doesn't mean that you are actually charging at 65w.
Dude, in my S21 Ultra I have 16GB RAM so I can't see any issues to make S24 Ultra 20GB
