Why are so many fooled by poor Bishop Williamson?! His version of Traditional Catholicism behaves just like Protestantism: They "sorta" split off because the Church supposedly isn't adhering to the true Faith, just until someone "realises" that their Group isn't keeping the true Faith anymore as well. Then they split off and start their own thing and this cycle goes on forever...

Most of the astronauts on the mission were devout Christians, and to deny the moon landing is cynical doomerism over one of the greatest achievements of Western, European man. Also if you convert because you hate the modern world and view the Catholic Church as the antidote, then you are setting yourself up to be disappointed. God made it so we literally can't move back in time. All unfolds according to his permissive will. Therefore there is always something to love about the age we have been given.

I mean, European civilization is like three generations from being completely erased from the planet. I don't think it will necessarily get to that point, but it's still not a good place to be. Western/European countries are run by people actively hostile to the civilization those people created, and to those people themselves. That's the civilization that grew up alongside the Catholic Church btw. Christendom is also effectively dead. It's pretty bleak.
I'm an agnostic who cares more about Europe than Christianity, but Christianity is probably at its weakest point since Constantine. That is undoubtedly a cause for concern among people who view it as true. It's been completely outflanked by liberalism and has either assimilated to it or just been flat out defeated in some countries. And before some appeal is made to the growth of Christianity in the third world, there's no reason to suspect those countries, largely under the thumb of the American empire, won't end up in the same place. This also just plain ignores what is being lost.

The Church should sever links with Tom Aquinas. He has been nothing but a burden on the Body of Chrrist.
The Church declared him a Saint to be venerated. God does not make Saints by accident. The Church also declared him a teacher of the whole Church to be listened to. To call him a burden is not what the Church asks for.
