happy 5th anniversary to seventeen! ...it's 4am right now so i'll try to keep this short...but get ready for a long + sappy message !!!!! (i'm just ranting about my story with seventeen)
thanks came out of february 5th, 2018. i would say i became an "official" carat four days later, february 9th. i guess you can say this was my first comeback, since it's the one song that reminds me of winter 2018. but even so, i didn't stay with them for all that long. i began drifting away from them a few months later, starting in may. nothing bad happened with them, i just found other interests, pushing these boys aside...
two years later, i find myself showing my friend loona's butterfly dance practice. i remember her commenting larger groups tend to have an advantage performance-wise (aka synchronization = A+ luv). i vividly suddenly remember pulling up the legendary aju nice dance practice afterwards because that video !! yeah haha. i remember being extremely impressed all over again, even though i had watched the same video multiple times two years prior...i even went home that day and binged all of the svt content i missed out on...because i was sad about an apush test i took earlier that day lmao ...it was comforting, okay!! you could say i fell in love all over again +_+
i only realized it recently, but that day i fell back into seventeen again was the same day thanks came out two years ago, aka february 5th...it may just be a coincidence, but it was too good to pass up, so here i made a lyric video for seventeen's fifth anniversary :) this video really means a lot to me because 1) i've been working nonstop on this for the last 24 hours, 2) it's a new editing style that i was really afraid but excited to try (because it looked too difficult for thirteen members ...it kinda was... i almost went crazy making ~four pngs per member...hahahah....), and 3) thanks !! this song was dedicated to thank carats, but i made a lyric video here to thank seventeen ♡ (and the date coincidence !!)
thank you, to these thirteen boys for bringing back so much happiness into my life. this last year has been hard mentally, and many times, i felt so alone. but because of seventeen, i have been able to revive so many relationships and make new ones. i'm especially grateful because it helped the bond with my two sisters strengthen even more, which is something i cherish very much. and to my old and new friends...thank you so much for staying with me and allowing a place where i can be happy freely^^ i love you all ♡
anyway, i will now go contemplate whether i should watch the 47 minute long anniversary video...or go to sleep..? ...as always, thank you for watching...haha ★
