  • It is possible to allow a small group of people to edit a single WordPress post. For example, you can select "John", "Sarah", "Alexander" and "Patricia" from all the users on your site and give them editing access, no matter what role they are in. Watch this video and you will be able to give editing access to specific users.

Hi, i need to setup a "Profiles Page" (which is a Custom Post Type made with ACF + ACF Front End Form Submit). I want to set the read/edit capability only to the Author (so the User that created the Profile Page) and a Administrator.
Furthermore the User/author should be able to make his Profile Public for all users OR just for logged in users.
I think it could be done with a custom Post Status "Private Profile" (which will be the default) ... so i can also let the user change it to a Post Status "Public Profile" on the settings page. Or is that not a good idea?
(I can write a bit of php code, if that is needed in this case)

Hi Ork. This is possible with the Pro version of PublishPress Permissions.
