Two years after relocating to Ghana and settling into our "Getting started house" in Ghana...We are finally building our Dream Home on our Dream Homestead here in Ghana.

This is fantastic work, and it is nice of you to want a very nice place for your caretaker. It would be a great to get a video on on the breakdown of costs, as this would be a good way to secure a land.

Helloo mummy...Congratulation with this project...However i am concerned about ventilation of the building... In Ghana most builders are not concerned about natural ventilation in terms of the structural make up and windows..We like sliding windows a lot which mostly does not allow maximum air inflow and out..There are different kinds of windows and air vents that can be applied to the building to make it more cooler in the inside during hot seasons without using aircondition and fans..I am always amazed by the structural design of some old buildings such as Unity Hall in Knust which allows maximum airflow in and out...Just a suggestion pls. Thank you
Air flow is not an issue at all, this small structure has got 5 huge windows..not including the one in the bathroom. So ventilation is on point 🙂

Sis how long did it take to build the tiny house and cost minus the septic? I appreciate that you wanted the caretaker to have a place they will feel comfortable in. You paid attention to detail.

6:02 The divider always results in standing water. Step down as you've done or gently slope all walls towards the shower drain is better. Nice video and commentary
Would have been nice if you had made it a storey, since you might need more than one security guy. Higher elevation would give them wider view from the top
This is the caretakers apartment...we've also built a security apartment. So it's all good 🙂

Hi we have planted willow trees all around the apartment. It's more for privacy but it will end up giving shade too. However the sunlight hasnt been a problem so far and the sea breeze makes it very cool 👍🏾

Very well done. Kudos. Just a quick question. Why did you choose a wooden door instead of a metal one? I’ve noticed the wooden ones tend to sag in the future and may need replacement.
It depends on the type of wood that you use. They have different types of wood..Not all wooden doors sag. 🙂
