There a quite a bit of auction land in Langkawi,Trengganu and other states in Malaysia. If you are bumiputera then it will be cheaper but worth for you to start looking.
The tool with cockroach inside is called “batok”. There is an idiom “ibarat melepaskan batok ditangga”. Meaning doing something partly/halfway. Old folk used to put batok nearby jar to wash their feet before entering the house. And visitor will not place it properly, they simply leave it at the stair. Batok is referring to this tool not “coughing” ☺️☺️☺️

Finally I got to see the Singgora video. The house was rebuild and some of the materials may be over 100 years old and some are new. By the way, most people in Terengganu (neighbouring state to Kelantan) prefer to eat laksa by hand like you eat the rice, so you can mix all the ingredients well like Jimmy who always put extra. Hope you enjoy your stay in Kelantan and enjoy the food. Kelantan is my wife home state and I am from Terengganu but we currently lived in Selangor.
Jimmy got attacked by a grasshopper was hilarious 😄😄. Maybe the owner should install mosquito net above the bed and guests can tuck the edges under the mattress so they can sleep peacefully without fear of crawling or jumping creatures.

We call it ' Katak Pisang' , kelantanese slang be like ' katok pise', direct translation would be 'banana plant frog'. If the house has a lot of tree around the house usually you would found them. It jump very high. If you found frog remove them outside, because somehow it is uncomfortable to sleep with the frog jumping around. ( I didn't know whether this is true or not but don't let our eyes urinated by katok pise because it will cause eye blindness, I'm sorry if this is not true, I'm not sure of it). I'm sorry i know a little about it

Hai jimmy and ichang,,, please make a more longer video, never bored to watch it,,love to see both of you at Tanah Tumpah Darahku MALAYSIA,,hope you guys have a nice and safe journey here,,
Wow! What a wonderful video of today, so beautiful and interesting, especially the insects fighting bed time, sorry to say that. If you want to have a nice sleep at this type semi jungle Kampung House (Village House), it is actually a very calm, serenity and interesting place to get rest, but you must switch off all the lights in your room during the bedtime, because the insects are always follow the lights, or you must sleep within the mosquito-net. In this type of night condition, you must get used of yourself on the sounds or noises from the insects, night birds and some small animals, otherwise it will be quite scary. Haha, but I saw both of you are so enjoyed and happy. 😍😝
Tinggal di kampung perkara biasa dengan serangga..katak..belalang dan kupu kupu masuk rumah...itu semula jadi di kampung...selamat menikmati keindahan alam dan suasana kampung...
Cocroach inside LOL. It was just chilling inside. Banana and durian trees outside the house, that's a real kampung life. The bedtime is hilarious. Having guests is part of the experience. A little tip, if you do not want the insects, switch off the lights or switch the bedroom lights off half an hour before entering
Absolutely beautiful. So glad you guys have the kampung experience finally living in natural surroundings, sounds of birds, roosters and animals, authentic Malay food. woww! for me, "kampung life" it the best way to enjoy life! and this one more to traditional. I also live in a kampung, but quite modern. 12:53 funny moment! hahahaha! 16:17 is that the eggs that Ai-chan found? You must try "KERABU KANGKUNG" in kelantan...
I was grown up in Chinese+Melayu Kampung in KL. This reminds me of my childhood kampung life. Yes there are a lots of friends in the house that you'll never expected to see in the city.
Thanks to IChang for promoting this vacation spot, the scenery is really beautiful.
rumah kampung mcm ni mmg sedap tidur waktu malam, sejuk je.. dulu2 waktu kecik membesar duduk rumah kampung dan suasana kampung macam ni la. sangat nostalgia 😢
Glad that u guys experienced the kampung stay. Beautiful homestay complete with good meals, rooster call, cricket sounds and all the insects. I believe many can relate this video to their childhood
p/s: insects often came in the room if it's raining outside to seek shelter. next time just remember to ask for mosquito net/kelambu
U guys wanna are inspire me to go to Malaysia (someday)
I enjoy watching ur vlogs..... Grt from Holland
I love how you guys brave trying every foods . I'm kelantanese . (A picky eater 😁😅) i like durian but i didn't like tempoyak. Well it all depends on people different tastes and preference
Love all your videos. You show us that happiness is simple. It doesn't take much to be happy after all.

A really worth experience that will be unforgettable memories till the rest of your life ❤️ Hope both you could try & enjoy every states of kampungs vibes in M’sia & feel the difference.
Durian kampung is my ultimate fav. The tastes are so varied and you never know what you’re getting and it’s just always a good surprise 😊 they should put a transparent mesh on the holes at the top to keep the bugs out
This is one of video that I really enjoyed! Even Malaysian from city like me don't have this opportunity to experience real kampung house .. keep it coming Ichang! 💖💖
There are many Kampong homestays all over Malaysia sis...even in Selangor, near padi field and river. In certain areas, they have homestay in their fruit orchard. You can have durian, rambutan, langsat during the season. Just google.
@@Hellibra yes u are right . I wish I have that one day as I'm taking care of my bedridden father and working too .. Insyallah will put it in my wishlist 🌹

Always waiting for your new video. And finally today is the day! Yeay!!!

Loved it especially when the bug jumped on Jimmy.....that cracked me up. The whole nature living seemed so peaceful, so zen. Thank you for posting.
If ichang live in Kelantan for another six months, maybe ichang can talk in Kelantanese malay slang
Morning vibes in kelantan was the best ever....miss it a lot and I love cold water in the morning that wake me up and cold weather I really love it so much even just a few month I left for work I already miss it...even watching this video make me tearing
It looks like iChang's praying for durian at the tree came to fruition. 🙏🤤
Nice selection of ulam (fresh/raw vege salad). It looks like they were home grown. Jimmy, you're very brave to put so much tempoyak onto your ayam goreng. It looked spicy through the screen!
Glad you got to enjoy staying in a traditional kampung house. It looked nice 🏡
ini lah konsep homestay sebenar.. bukan sekadar bermalam, esok check-out..
元気ですか 🌤️🇲🇾✨Have fun enjoying the beauty of staying in an old Malay traditional house. in the big city you will really miss the new atmosphere in the Malay village. There are also many mosquitoes here.
Tidur dalam kelambu
The insect dropping off and jimmy scared is the highlight of the video. Really make it authentic. Bcuz we lived it b4
Wahhh.. Kampung vibes.. iChang n Jimmy.. U guys look so romantic here.. May u both happy n healthy always..
I'm Kelantanese 😍❤️Thank you for coming to the traditional house of Kelantan... and Kelantanese food is very tasty and diverse 😋... and it's a food heaven here ^_^
I enjoyed watching ur video..
Benar benar sughoiii suasana disana
Terbaikkkk.lah ichang
Thank you for showing us this place. I think I'll make a trip there.
beautiful traditional malay house, that styles called "bumbung pemeleh", with traditional roof style shape like fish scale
I'm sorry i know a little about it
beautiful. i was in singgora last year and met Abang Mat (Singgora owner) myself. Nice guy, very passionate about promoting traditional foods and arts.
Tempoyak is ferment durian with salt. Once you acquire the taste you will love it. Try the patin tempoyak or ikan bakar with tempoyak in Pahang.
Wow I'm so envious of your kampong life. It was so peaceful surrounded by nature and free from worldly issues. 👍👍👌
It's only a matter of time before iChang starts saying "sek kito jange pecoh"
素晴らしかったIchang & Jimmy!!
もうローカルのような旅ですね🥰.
Johorにある実家のような環境です。実家も周りにはドリアンの木がいっぱいです。
Ichang は、カフタンを着て、とっても素敵でしたよ😍。
Cocroach inside LOL. It was just chilling inside. Banana and durian trees outside the house, that's a real kampung life. The bedtime is hilarious. Having guests is part of the experience. A little tip, if you do not want the insects, switch off the lights or switch the bedroom lights off half an hour before entering
Both of you blended well with the environment, its like watching a movie, a good one indeed.
Absolutely beautiful. So glad you guys have the kampung experience finally living in natural surroundings, sounds of birds, roosters and animals, authentic Malay food. You guys like ving it up Ichang and jimmy. Something every Malaysian dream about living the nature style. You guys eat ulam, tempoyak and budu like pros☺️. I think that was a flying frog... OMG 😅
@iChang and Jimmy, thank you for the lovely video. I feel proud as a Malaysian when I watched it. You really put efforts to produce such a beautiful video. I laughed so loud when Jimmy being attacked by the grasshopper. Glad you have a great time in Malaysia and I am so happy to be one of the subscribers of a powerful yet humble RUclipsr couple. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍

The rain in kampung and at night is so perfect. nostalgic 😭😔miss kampung.

Enjoy watching content like this, please do more! 💕
Such a wonderful experiences you both had there. Your comments were very sincere and appreciative. Hope you experience and enjoy more Malaysian Hospitality while exploring Malaysia. Have a nice day to both of you.
Sleeping in a mosquito net (kelambu) will save you from insects when sleeping. I think the homestay should provide that to make it more comfortable. Thats how I used to sleep in Kampung Houses
Jimmy and ichang.. This is our Malaysian Traditional life in kampung.. You can enjoy food and the environment soo cool.. Rich with green natures and the peoples are so good and talkative... That is why many tourist are choose to live in Malaysia especially kampung.. I hope one day you both will live in Malaysia for forever... 🤲🤲👍👍
Tips to sleep at night in kampung area…switch off light inside the house 😬 insects or other small reptiles will search for warm, dry and comfort place, especially if it is raining/after raining.
Tq Ichang & Jimmy for exploring Malaysian food, culture & everything that Malaysia has and loving them too...we are proud to welcome you both ALWAYS..... ARIGATO guys!!!
